A Nonreactive HIV-1/2 antibody result does not exclude HIV infection since the time frame for seroconversion is variable. If acute HIV infection is suspected, antibody retesting and nucleic acid amplicfication testing is recommended.

ER doctors do not prescribe antibiotics for the flu, which is viral. They are treating you for a possible bacterial infection, which HIV is NOT.
It's possible the antibiotics are causing some negative side effects or they are not working against whatever possible bacterial infection you may have. If you do not feel better soon, or continue to feel worse and have a fever, I suggest you see your doctor for further testing, or return to the ER.

Your first question - you are HIV negative and the antibiotics would not make any difference at all to the results. You are fine.
With reference to the further questions, you do not need to test again. The HIV tests you have had are solid and negative. Whatever your wife has is not HIV contracted from you. You're mind is working disporportionate overtime. Common things are common and it is overwhelmingly likely that she just has a minor infection.
About 6 months ago I was tested positive for gonorrhea then was given heavy antibiotics 1g ceftrixone injection plus 1g azythromycin for 3 consecutive days. From last one week I have been feeling intermittent needle like pain (throbbing) in penis and in an area (could be perineum)around testicles and recently a bladder pain while urinating. Could that still be gonorrhea? Was it never gone? Also I got tested for several other STD's (chlamydia, sypilis, herpes, HIV) but was tested negative.

Hi, with EBV you would have a bad sore throat, swollen lymph nodes in the neck area, and fever and fatigue. I wouldn't worry about HIV if you were negative after 3 months. Antibiotics don't work on a virus if it is EBV. They usually test you for mono and they have a test called a mono spot test plus a complete blood count to look for atypical lymphocytes and they could do EBV IgM and IgG. But EBV doesn't give you diarrhea, and gas usually no dizzyness.
i went to see a doctor he gave me some antibiotics for my throat and abdominal pains. i was ok after taking the antibiotics for the abdominal pains but the sore throat became very severe. this sore throat is quite different from all sore throats i have experienced and has lasted for a longer period of time. i don't feel pains when i swallow but it itches and become very dry. swallowing keeps it better.

I know the doctors all say 6 a negative test 6-8 weeks post exposure generally means one is fine. Respond if u can Teak. I dont want any smart comments from people. Thanks very much.
