Common Questions and Answers about Antibiotics exercise

antibiotics

Avatar f tn -- he writes at length about exercise and its importance, and is very much in favor of exercise. However he does discuss at length what kinds of exercise, how often and how long, based on where one is in the Lyme process.
Avatar m tn t sleep at night... He gave me some antibiotics and it pretty much cleared everything up. I also had some weird blisters that would show up on my hands which I'm about 99% sure is dyshidrotic eczema. That has gone away completely. About 3 weeks ago I tried running again at home, and some of my itching has come back all over. It's not anywhere as bad as before. I seem to have some very light jock itch and athlete's foot right now too...my skin *****!
Avatar f tn I have the same problem, I have tried showering straight after, drinking plenty of water, using antibacterial face wipes, taking supplements to aid digestive system such as Milk Thistle, HR Clear etc, herbal remedied, nothing works, and I don't have to do that much exercise to get it, any form of exercise which causes sweating... and I also never used to get this either, it started after I turned 26, I am now 30, so I've been having the same problem but quite for some time.
Avatar f tn This is my first time on here so I'm not really sure how to use the forums. Any way, I'm 14, 96kgs ( my starting weight was 110kgs) and I have chronic fatigue. And I try to exercise but it's really hard to exercise. Has anyone been able to lose weight with chronic fatigue? And I'm new to calorie counting so I'm unsure how much calories to eat? Thanks!
Avatar f tn Hi, We're not quite sure what I've got, though it looks like an autoimmune disorder. For the last 3 weeks I've been running a fever of about 100.2 without any other symptoms, just increased chest pain and joint pain (the chest pain I've been having for a year, the joint pain on and off since December). Does anyone know if it's okay to exercise when you have an autoimmune-related fever, and in general, an autoimmune disease?
Avatar n tn As you are being treated for epididymitis you have to take some rest and antibiotics properly for a week and then you can always exercise and there are many other options of antibiotics and you can change to any other antibiotic as work outs are your passion. Discuss with your physician to change from Ciprofloxacillin. Do not lift weight and use proper foot wear, do not aggravate your back problem. Take care!
Avatar f tn LLMDs do antibiotics; LLNDs do herbs and may also use antibiotics. Each doc should explain to you why his/her approach is the right one for you and what the reasons are (for and against) in each approach. Then you get to decide which way to go. You say: "Needless to say, I'm very upset and scared and don't want to try anything because I'm scared of a reaction. I read how so many people have been having reactions to antibiotics.
Avatar n tn Is doxy just slower to take effect? My experiences with antibiotics in the past have been that they usually work right away, and you just have to take them for a while to make sure you've totally eliminated the infection.
770551 tn?1305578901 Do warm ups before starting and slow down before stopping. Try other forms of exercise and see if you have the same symptoms, and if it repeats then a routine examination near a Neurologist is recommended. Take care!
1132574 tn?1271672466 I would really like to begin an exercise routine again but the last time I tried to exercise daily I had 2 very bad weeks following 3 days of exercise. The other thing I have learned is that weight loss can also trigger symptoms to increase, so be cautious and talk to your llmd about ways to minimize them.
Avatar n tn i eat plenty of fruit and vegetables, exercise plenty, drink plenty of water and take multi-vitamins, glucosamine and cod liver oil daily. i am 25 years old and am not a vegetarian or vegan. what is likely to be the cause of this problem?
242516 tn?1368223905 The flu has passed epidemic rates in much of the country, and if you don't have a cold, I'm sure you have a friend who has the sniffles, fever, chills, aches and pains of a viral upper respiratory infection. This is different from a bacterial infection such as sinusitis, bronchitis, or pneumonia. A viral infection doesn't improve with antibiotics as these infections do. A virus hijacks your own body's healthy cells and uses it to reproduce and spread.
1423392 tn?1286590390 antibiotics..... exercise. ...no exercise because it puts me back down.... or my entire body into a panic attack once after doing very light cardio for a couple weeks. Something felt sooooo wrong like my body was dieing. It was horrible. I hope you find more good days then bad and just focus on the good days during the bad.
Avatar f tn I was wondering if anyone has had any heart rhythm problems attributed to antibiotics. I have pvcs/pacs, all tests, ekg, echo has come back completely normal. Im just worried about taking a new medication,, afraid it may cause the palpitations to be worse, better yet cause a dangerous arrythmia!! Any advice would be great!!
Avatar f tn What antibiotics are you taking? Did your dr prescribe these antibiotics for bronchitis knowing that you are pregnant?
Avatar f tn Is it harmful to the baby if im taking antibiotics for bronchitis? And I am only about 1 month .
Avatar f tn Strep is going through my family and I know with my luck I will get it, but I will definitely take antibiotics to try and keep it from spreading even more.
Avatar f tn I have a pending root canal but am both worried about the dental infection hurting baby or the antibiotics... the doctors have said the antibiotics I have are perfectly fine for pregnancy but I would feel better to hear all went well by someone else :) Thanks for the read through!
Avatar f tn My anxiety is way too high to start taking these antibiotics! "Not recommended for pregnant women unless benefits outweigh the risks" is not good enough for me! The doctor asked if I was on birth control when I went in (ER) -.- , im 28 weeks & seriously do not want anything risking my babies health :( the pills are Apo-Cephalex 500mg. My ingrown toenail keeps getting worse as Im unable to clean it on a regular basis or let it breathe at all.
13782075 tn?1437961772 Omgness this is killing me im on these antibiotics and they make me throw up im on fire (my house is at 68 degrees) but im buring up i feel so freaking sick these are miserable! I eat and feel okay for maybe 20 min then im sick as a dog again.
Avatar f tn Definitely take the antibiotics. Uti is something that needs antibiotics to cure and if it goes untreated then can develop into a kidney problem which in some cases can cause early labour. Much safer to take the meds. I've been on the same antibiotics twice during this pregnancy and am now 36+ weeks and baby is perfectly healthy.
Avatar f tn I got bit by a dog on my leg and the bite wasn't to bad but it did break skin so I got put on antibiotics for 10 days and I'm nervous that it's not ok to take. But Iv been taking the recommended dose for like 3 days now. I'm 19 weeks pregnant now.
Avatar f tn I have to go in tomorrow at 7pm to get antibiotics for having gbs before i get induced Wednesday. I was wondering if they would let me eat since im not actually getting induced until Wednesday. Also, what does it feel like? Is it just like an iv? Also do any of you moms have advice for being induced or what to expect with this being my first?
