Hello! I have been experiencing some vaginal burning during my menstrual, but I am not sexually active! My menstrual doesn't smell bad, or have any real change in texture. I tend to get large clots and watery blood. Sometimes my vulva gets itchy, but I realized always pads were doing that to me! After I switched, no more itching. But my vagina has been burning and I think it's actually kinda dry despite having such a heavy flow! Any input would be appreciated!
iam 23 yrs old and iam married one yr back and slight white discharge was there and doctor gave me medicine also it is not cured till and also i feel itching and irritation in the vaginal region since many days even i clean each time after urination and also during menstrual period it is smelling very bad.pls give me the reason this is happening with me.
t had my period for like 3 months now, (I am not physical with anyone) I did visit the gynecologist and got some tests done but everything seems normal. I was sick during the month of March and was on antibiotics for a week. Also, I was stressed a little during the same month. Is this normal?

Hi there, just want someone to put my mind at ease , I was on pinamox an antibiotic at the start of the month of my contraceptive (logynon) roughly three weeks ago, during this period I had sex but used a condom and did not let the partner ejaculate inside condom in me even though we were using a condom. We had sex twice more with the exact same circumstances, condom did not break or fail at any stage.
I fingered a prostitute during her menstrual period(we did not have any other sex). During the case, I used the finger with her menstrual period blood to touch my small open wound, then what is the risk for me to be infected with syphilis or other stds? Because I know from this forum that syphilis can be infected through blood to blood.

My girlfriend and I practice safe sex (use a condom), always have. Though she is ten days late on her period now and we aren't sure why. She had been on antibiotics just a week beforehand for a week as well. We suspect that may be the cause, but I wanted to ask the community what they thought and know their experiences. We are both very worried and confused how this could have happened and can only speculate until she tests herself. Please help!

After antibiotics they suggest using alternative contraception for a couple weeks 2 to 3 before relying on the pill. If you went one entire cycle, that should be fine. However, no form of birth control is 100% so even if the antibiotics weren't effecting the pill, it's still possible to get pregnant. If you usually start by now, take a pregnancy test with your first morning urine.
Menstrual cramps are normal to have and I get severe menstrual cramps on the first day of my period as well. Typically it is just from hormones that causes the cramping, as the surge will cause contractions, making her period painful. Prevention is much better than management for pain. Exercise and eating healthy can help prevent menstrual cramps to a certain point, but won't always get rid of them.
Could this extremely light period be due to all the meds I took before and due to the antibiotics I’m taking now? Has anyone ever had this happen to them?

Your period can be effected by a lot of things including diet, water consumption ,and hormone imbalances.
Have you visited a gynecologist yet? that is really the best way to find out whats wrong.

Hormones do affect us in many ways and headaches is a common issue. I myself get headaches related to my hormones. Usually worse right before or during my period. I'm prone to migraines so shifts in the hormonal balance affect me. You may have this same type of sensitivity. Dehydration can also cause headaches.

last march 14-16, i had an unusual period that it lasts for three days, this is my first time ever. apparently, i had unprotected sex days before and during my period.
