I would say childbirth classes are extremely informative and helpful when it comes to determining the procedures done at your hospitals, health, what to expect during labor, how to breathe, etc etc. I highly recommend first time moms taking childbirth classes. Definitely take the antibiotics. Uti is something that needs antibiotics to cure and if it goes untreated then can develop into a kidney problem which in some cases can cause early labour. Much safer to take the meds. I've been on the same antibiotics twice during this pregnancy and am now 36+ weeks and baby is perfectly healthy.
