Avatar m tn Do your parent’s also have yellow teeth? If yes then it can be hereditary. Intrinsic and extrinsic stains can cause yellowish tinge on teeth. Excessive intake of tea/coffee,alcohol,illnesses,excessive intake of fluoride, excessive use of antibiotics during childhood can contribute to a change in the color of the dentine and lead to yellow teeth Extrinsic stains cause color change on the enamel, or through cracks and fissures on the tooth surface.
Avatar n tn Both conditions cause a lightheaded feeling or stuffed head feeling. And a sinus infection can cause the teeth to hurt. (I actually get a gum infection with my sinus infections.) If you have an infection, only a prescription of antibiotics will help.
Avatar m tn Also antibiotics can cause this. Eat yogurt , that helps also.
Avatar n tn You probably need antibiotics. I know some antibiotics have been of concern to pg. mothers they can yellow the babies teeth but I think that is for taking them long term. Maybe your gyno can give you something to dry up the mucus without antibiotics but for sure see a dr. yellow mucus isn't normal.
242516 tn?1368223905 The flu has passed epidemic rates in much of the country, and if you don't have a cold, I'm sure you have a friend who has the sniffles, fever, chills, aches and pains of a viral upper respiratory infection. This is different from a bacterial infection such as sinusitis, bronchitis, or pneumonia. A viral infection doesn't improve with antibiotics as these infections do. A virus hijacks your own body's healthy cells and uses it to reproduce and spread.
Avatar n tn Also it can cause the kittens to have weird looking teeth, fluorescent yellow. Get a medication from the vet.

Avatar f tn What could be the reason for half yellow and half white teeth??
Avatar m tn I recently had two teeth extracted and when I wake up in the morning I have this yellow coating all over my tongue. Is this normal after a tooth extraction? Thanks.
Avatar n tn If your teeth are "yellow," it could mean that the enamel of your teeth is slowly being stripped away and the yellow dentin underneath your enamel is slowly being exposed. Soda/fizzy drinks, citrus drinks, foods with vinegar, or anything acidic in general can and will dissolve your tooth enamel. I would not use those teeth whitening kits. Hydrogen peroxide is corrosive.
Avatar f tn Who do you check with about sinus infection under teeth? All these teeth were on top, where the sinuses join the top teeth/gums. ENT says dental, dental says ENT? Thank you again for replying.
Avatar f tn Too much sugar in one's diet is usually the cause of a toothbrush turning yellow. Sugar tends to exacerbate plaque buildup in your mouth, resulting in a more yellowish appearance on your teeth. If you wash your teeth frequently, this deposit may transfer to your toothbrush, turning it yellow.
Avatar m tn I have had several surgeries to have a tooth implant put in. last week i got a sinus infection and was put on antibiotics (a Z pack that i finished 2 or 3 days ago). i started to feel better 2 days ago. however, yesterday i started getting pain in the general area of my implanted tooth. the tooth is located on the upper left side of my mouth (5 in from my front tooth). I thought it was strange that it started bothering me AFTER most of my congestion went away.
Avatar n tn The first time I coughed up blood my GP called in the script without seeing me. The second time I had just started antibiotics from my asthma doctor and and my GP just said it was good that I needed the antibotics. You really do need to see a doctor as the blood is a sign of a serious infection at best. That type of infection can cause lung damage. So get it taken care of.
Avatar f tn But now, I have been coughing up dark grey after having some chronically infected teeth pulled. Could this be a result of the local anesthetic injections, or a worsening of the copd? I can only get rid of bronchitis for about a month before it comes back every time. Antibiotics (doxicycline) seem to have the inside of my mouth raw, with white patches on my tongue and a few white blisters in mouth, also. Now I'm on Penicillin for the teeth. I am on chantix, too. Quitting after 37 years.
Avatar f tn Anyone know what could be the cause? Im almist positive its not from polish as ive never had this happen before.

Avatar f tn The use of drugs of the tetracycline-class during tooth development (last half of pregnancy, infancy, and childhood up to the age of 8 years) may cause permanent discoloration of the teeth (yellow-gray-brown). Results of animal studies indicate that tetracyclines cross the placenta, are found in fetal tissues, and can cause retardation of skeletal development on the developing fetus.
Avatar n tn Together these form hardened white balls and cause bad breath. Brush your teeth twice a day, rinse your mouth after every meal, and use a tongue cleaner. Change tooth brush every 15 days. Most tonsils go away by good oral hygiene. Some you can scrape off yourself. Others a doctor can remove, especially an ENT. If they still persist surgery is performed. Please consult an ENT. Take care!

Avatar n tn It is certainly plausible that the wisdom teeth can cause glands in the neck to be swollen. If the teeth are infected that can cause a general malaise. I am not too sure about the stomach issues. Could be from the antibiotics.
