I am a 27y male, having colon problems for the last 3 months, first it was obstruction while clearing my bowels visiting the local doctor I was diagnosed with antibiotics, resulted in temporary relief, however symptoms triggered back on, I have a strained feeling at my lower back, thick tape like stool (Not Cylindrical as in normal case). Blood tests proved me not to be anemic, no blood found i stool test. I still don't have clear bowel movements and the lower back strain prevails.
Past history of urinary tract infections which were treated with antibiotics. Also have had 2 cases of strep also treated with antibiotics. Obgyn also suspected bacterial vaginosis so was treated for that. This all happened within last 5 years. Have not felt normal since!
ve seen an oral surgeon recently and he said it might be TN. He put me on Tegratol to see if the pain will response. Does TN cause inflammation on the gum? and does x-ray show infection in the bone?
I've been living for the past 15 years with an I incurable scalp disorder and have lost lot's of hair do to pus inflammation of my hair-follicles and then wonders into my glands behind my ears, the only thing that seems to help is to take antibiotics

I got my first PM nearly 5 months ago. I was put on strong antibiotics the day before and the day after the original PM implant surgery. I came home from hospital with lymph nodes swollen and full feeling in stomach and chest. Since I had never had a PM before, I attributed it to the PM or the surgery.
3 months after original implant, the original PM incision began to get red and erode. They put me on IV antibiotics. Cultures were negative.
I would like to know if an enlarged prostate (or similar inflammation of internal muscles) is a common cause of epididymitis and be able to help more people...

when i asked dr told this is stomach inflammation. what is stomach inflammation? how does that come? i am taking medicine for thyroid daily . eltroxin 100. is it becoz of that? or i used to take anti hisatmin anti inflammatory tablets now and then for allergic sneezng and my radiating pain in hand and leg.. is it due to that? i am 34.5 yrs old and i have a baby. 3.5 yrs old. i and my husband was plannig for another baby and we were plannig to conceive this month. then this inflammation came.
With sinusitis there is usually infection with inflammation of the sinuses, hence antibiotics are prescribed.

shortness of breath after very slight exertion (like jumping on the couch or coming in from outside), rapid breathing (has ranged from 30bpms to 60 bpms, she is currently in the fifties pretty reliably), runny nose, and heavy breathing. We have had her on a round of de-wormer and antibiotics. She is currently on steroids, and we just put her on a new antibiotic to see if they will work. Does anyone have any ideas what could be wrong?
I had no signs or symptoms. 2 weeks after this I was diagnosed with Prostatitis and put on antibiotics (Levofloxacin). 3 weeks after encounter I tested negative for STD's. It is now 7 weeks after encounter and I am still battling the prostatitis. I guess I am having a hard time believing that I developed Prostatitis right after my sexual encounter and it has nothing to do with an STD. Would the fact I am on antibiotics at the time of my STD testing have produced a false negative?
I get it severel times a month, and have taken antibiotics, but it always comes back. It is eating away at my ear, but my doctor just keeps prescribing antibiotics.
The ear does not produce any earwax, and I have been told by a different doctor, that the lack of earwax can be the cause of infection.
Is there something I can do to stimulate the production?
Avoid wearing clothes which may rub against the boil and cause friction and aggravate your condition. You may need antibiotics if it is a boil or folliculitis.For mild infection topical antibiotics are prescribed while in severe infections oral antibiotics are prescribed. I just finished a 3 month course of Doxycycline for epididymitis/orchitis(100mg twice daily). The cause of the inflammation has never really been known but I suspected Chlamydia. Im planning on getting tested in a few weeks after the doxy is fully expelled from my system but Is it possible that I could still have an STD after such a long antibiotic course.
I was tested for STDs a week after my first 7 day course of Doxy.
Inflammation in inner regions of eye can cause floater's like in the case of uveitis, but dry eye syndrome alone will not cause any inflammation to inner regions of eye & will only affect the outer part of eye like corneal regions that too in severe form of dry eye.
Some antibiotics & steroids used for reducing eye inflammations (both outer & inner), or for other use can cause eye floater's, but in this case the triggering agent is medication not the dry eye.

I'm hoping to find opinions on my CBC. A brief history. I have been having odd symptoms for years now. I recently tested positive for Chonic Lyme and started treatment in May. Since I started treatment my CBC have been all over the place. My blood is tested every month to make sure the meds are not affecting my liver of kidneys. My WBC count has been constantly high since treatment started.
My PCP called the other day a referred me to a Hematologist.

I was recently on 3 months of antibiotics because they thought I had bacterial prostatitis, so after taking all those antibiotics it can’t be an infection. I have read long use of antibiotics can cause inflammation. I’ve also gained about 85 pounds in the last 8 months due to anxiety/depression, overeating and being home as I was laid off work. My tryglisoroids are now high also due to eating. I also have been having major anxiety etc.

I suffer from chronic inflammation at the shaft near glans for about 3 decades. I also have pain at suprapubic region and have to sleep prone with a ball underneath always. I also get pain and funny feeling at the tendon insertions esp at the lateral end in cubital fossae in both knees. Inflammation takes place even if I masterbated or used a condom. I thought there is Chr Prostatitis and took full course of antibiotics various kinds.
