Avatar f tn You should call either your doctor or one of the 24/7 hot line mfgr nurses to confirm, but I doubt there’d be any issues with IFN and antibiotics; people on HCV therapy are regularly prescribed antibiotics without problems.

1322693 tn?1308153896 diseases need separate testing and often different antibiotics .... Because Lyme has such different manifestations and symptoms in different people, it is hard to tease out which other diseases the tick might have left behind as its little gifts. I had not bartonella, but babesiosis, which is like malaria. There are others too, such as ehrlichiosis.
Avatar m tn It is possible that you have/had sun poisioning. Any antibiotics will add to the harsh exposure of the sun. That is why they tell you to try to avoid the sun if you can or use a high level of sunscreen if you are out in the sun. If you are not feeling better soon, you should see your doctor. Please be careful while in the sun while on these medications. It can cause some major symptoms not to mention the higher risk of sun burn. Hope you feel better soon.
Avatar f tn I had a small fistula appear on Sat. and disappear on Sun. I have had a slight headache since Sunday. I am now starting again with a small fistula, still have the slight headache and now have a low grade fever @ 100 degrees. Can the fever and headache be related to the root canal? I am going to my dentist tomorrow because the temporary crown done by the endodontist has worn off. How worried should I be-could the infection be traveling? Do I need antibiotics?
Avatar m tn When I was a child and would get strep throat, my pediatrician would prescribe antibiotics for my mom and dad too as my germs were so strong, LOL, they still are. It did not hurt them any and they did not get my strep. So, I think it is all up to the individual. Immunity usually develops if you take something for a long period. I would ask your doctor if you are concerned about this however. Enjoy your trip.
Avatar f tn There is ciprofloxacin group, the ofloxacin group, the erythromycin group, gentamycin, amikacin etc. However you cannot take antibiotics indiscriminately as you are breast feeing and the drugs may harm your little one. Since the symptoms have been persisting for some time, you should consult an ENT specialist for this. Taking steam twice a day, drinking plenty of hot fluids and adding an anti-inflammatory drug to the medications you are taking may help. Hope this helps.
Avatar n tn s skin can be very sensitive to the sun in spring and summer, especially those with pale skin and red hair. Solar dermatitis or sun rash is seen as small, reddish blisters or small or large spots in areas that have been exposed to sunlight and usually appears after minutes' or hours' exposure to the sun and can be extremely itchy. Try to avoid direct sunlight when it is most intense around midday and early afternoon.
Avatar f tn The best way to prevent them is to avoid treating your skin with excessively harsh chemicals and to limit sun exposure. Also use good quality cosmetics and exfoliate your skin regularly. Topical antibiotics such as mupirocin or neomycin containing ointment are also useful. In case the symptoms persist then please consult a dermatologist. I sincerely hope that helps. Take care and please do keep me posted on how you are doing.
Avatar f tn It could be the antibiotic and sun exposure. Call your pharmacy and ask if you should stay out of the sun while taking your antibiotic. Yes, it may be the sun block too. Get an oatmeal based bath soak. That should help. Keep us up to date on how your doing and try to stay out of the sun until your finished with your antibiotic.
Avatar n tn While skin cancer is the most common form of cancer, many types are both preventable and treatable. I think you should concern with the skin cancer specialist to treat and prevent your skin cancer.
Avatar m tn Whenever I masturbate, i use Cetaphil skin cream. It's been serving me well for years. Recently however, my supply ran dry, and had to resort to using sun tan lotion. As time has gone by, I've noticed that it now stings to pee, and there has been a burning sensation in my penis. Theres also tenderness in my lower abdomen when i push down on it, and it feels like my bladder is tense, almost like a bladder infection. Is it possible that the sun tan lotion could have caused an infection?

Like Hives. And his eyes will water constantly. The doctors have put him on 2 different allergy meds and neither seem to work. EVen if he wears sunglasses, the light still shines through the top and makes it hard for him to see. He could barely find easter eggs yesterday and there was nothing but clouds in the sky!

471161 tn?1317190950 I remember one day making myself walk out on my back patio and I closed my eyes and put my face to the sun. It felt so warm and so relaxing and it just calmed my anxiety I was having about how my life had been turned upside down. Now I make it a practice, even if I am sitting on my covered porch to spend more time outside. Recently, I had a new neighbor move in next door and that house has a pool so I've slowly gotten into the sun.
Avatar n tn One time I had been lying in the sun in my bikini for a few hours and then had a few drinks that night. That night I began to feel sick in the stomach and the next day my stomach was bloated and I couldn't eat any food. I also had a headache, leg adema and severe muscle pains in my legs. About a day later a small, round, white looking sore developed near my bikini line which had been exposed to the sun.
Avatar m tn You would still need to consult your doctor about the associated symptoms you are having and to rule out a bacterial or fungal infection and whether you need a course of antibiotics or other medications. Let us know about how you are doing and post us about what your doctor advises. Regards.
3221216 tn?1373640059 m just staying out of the sun.....I do not want those rashes/itchy skin and the sun can only make things worst. Hope you find a good doctor. Where do you live? I know a good one in San Diego at UCSD. I know weight is a concern. I lost a huge amount of weight before starting the program. The first time on the program, I was heavy and was a relapser so I did everything I could this time around to try to put myself in a better place for success. Good luck on getting treatment.

The bumps are white, some times puss comes out, other times not. She gets flea drops religiously and I have found NONE on her, I also bath her with medicated shampoo once a week, as directed by the vet.
