hi diane, I hope you havent caused some damage to the area your applying this cream. This particular cream esp the 2.5% is now being called the new wrinkle remover!. It thins tissues and is only meant for specific areas and i dont think your vagina area is one of them. In this area there are many nerve cells as you know.
I think best to see your gyno and get the best possible treatment.

For the last week or so, when I wash my hands they almost immediately wrinkle (as they normally would after about 15-20 minutes of showering).

This never happen to me. Now it has spread all over the penis glans and some part of my foreskin. I havent put any cream on it. I did masturbate 2 days after and made it worst. I don't think it is Herpes or STDS or anything similar. Is this something i should consult my doctor too?
I also have a problem with wrinkly hands, which began getting wrinkled some several months after I caught a respiratory / stomach virus. Anyway, this is my problem:
A few years ago, I was using a anti-acne cream (peroxiben 5% or 10% can't remember), and it was very strong. Accidently it went on the eye skin area, and burned it a bit. Since then I have like an eye wrinkle under my left eye (skin area), it's very deep, red and can't put nothing on it, only vaseline and nivea cream (the normal one).
Yes, society does promote youth. The women you see in the glam magazines who are trying to sell you a bottle of wrinkle cream is often in her 20's. No wonder she is flawless. Hollywood also promotes their older actresses by enhancing and photo chopping them to look like they have the perfect face and perfect body. Most people think, well if she can look that good at her age, I want to as well. Having said that, I cannot afford plastic surgery, injections and the like.
I have been to 2 different dermotologists and given a topical steroid cream...it makes it go away but it comes back if I stop longer for 2-3 days... The dermatologist did an allergey patch test on my back and I mildly tested positive to fragrances.... I threw away over $200 worth of products and spent another $100-150 on all fragrance free stuff....from shampoo, conditioners, body wash, lotions, etc and after a week of all this, the patch is BACK!!! I am so frustrated.....
ve tried this as well as Vitamin E oil, Triple Anti-biotic ointment, hydro cortisone 1% and lotion. The petroleum jelly seems to help the area, but as soon as the friction occurs it happens all over again. The penis doesn't seem to be dry from what I can tell. It does contain Salicylic Acid and I had NO IDEA until today that you're not suppose to use it when you're pregnant. about a year ago i had intensely itchy skin on my face and being the fool that i am, and unaware of the consequences, slathered cortisone cream (1%) all over my face for probably about 2 weeks? sometimes i would dilute it with moisteriser and wipe it off after a few hours..and i used maybe about 1/4 to a half of a smallish tube. I noticed that my skin appeared thinner and there is some saggage, and fine lines are much more noticeable. I'm only 24, and now look like im in my 30's.
Are you wanting a cream to lighten your skin? I'm not sure what you have available- but anything that is marked skin lightening or something like "radiance lightening" would be what you are looking for- do keep in mind that these creams won't always give you the exact results you are hoping for- kinda like wrinkle cream, they don't always work and if they do don't always work for everyone.
