Currently manufacturers of skin products have been trying to provide a wide array of skin care products to suit each skin type. For an individual to get the best skin care, one should follow a particular regimen of cleansing, toning , exfoliating and moisturizing.
As one grows older however, exfoliation may damage the thinning skin. Cleansing and moisturizing are still essential as one ages. The use of sunscreen for the face is still a must.
I naturally have sensitive skin, but since I got towards the end of the 1st trimester, I've found that my forehead gets incredibly dry and flaky. Is this (dry skin) a symptom of pregnancy? What's the best product to use to moisturize super dry skin? Are there products (lotions and moisturizers) I should avoid while pregnant? First time mom at 11w+4, so I apologize if I seem naive.
It is completely independent, I do have to leave the house for shows, but I make money for products sold, and for products sold by consultants underneath me, I enjoy setting my own schedule and because everyone needs face wash, moisturizers, lotions, and anti-aging skin care products business is never slow. I an out of my home for approx 9 hours a week and do another 3 hours of work in my home and I make over $400/week.
I am interested in reviews between these two products, what has been the best for you and why.
What vitamins can I take to prevent aging? Exclusively the face and neck areas. If there is not a vitamin, can herbs help and what kind? Any Natural Preventions?
I ll use weleda baby products. I use weleda myself, after a range of issues with other products (itching, rash, dandruff, ...) and finally found products i'm happy with, and my skin problem-free.
Natural vitamin E is proven to reverse the effects of skin aging. It is an excellent example of a natural antioxidant which is present in a lot of different face and body creams. It is very conveinient, you can change the ship date each month based on whether you need them sooner or later. My daughter has sensitive skin and these have worked well. When she was still in diapers she would wet the bed at night, they have the option of overnight diapers, I got them and didnt have anymore issues. She is in their training pants now, no issues. Also, along with your diapers and wipes each month you can add other things like rash cream etc.
I am 60 and noticing my teeth are more transparent. There are products that advertise they will restore lost dentin. Anybody tried them?
Go to ulta and talk to their estheticians for a professional recommendation. While pregnant do stay away from retinols which are anti aging. They can cause birth defects. But look for something that has hyaluronic acid in it which is a natural chemical our body makes which helps retains moisture by 1000x its weight. So it is super hydrating which will help reduce and prevent wrinkles.

There is really no single effective product as skin reactions to these products do vary. Wrinkles may be lessened by using moisturizers. These products may smoothen out skin and also improve fine lines over the eyes and near the mouth. Vitamin E cream may be a good choice when used to moisturize. Also, using sunscreen with an SPF of at least 30 during the day or during prolonged exposure to the sun may help reduce wrinkles.
Some days when I look at my face in the mirror I feel like a 50 year old. The texture of my facial skin looks horrible, my skin is very dry and my facial pores are pretty big. I also have puffiness and black circles under my eyes.
My weight is normal, I eat healthy, exercise a lot and take a multivitamin and Complex B. I don't drink, don't smoke, don't tan, don't wear makeup, don't do drugs and don't go out in the sun.
After seeing derm who said I had small pathces of ezema (serb D) I then tried few more products but everything still reacted (jojoba oil, shea butter, la roche posay, Avene, Cetaphil, baby products etc etc). Some times reactions were not face reddening but breakouts of larger pores and skin looking older and more grainy.
I now think my problem is my skin barrier is so damaged that any ingredient I put on it reacts thus prohibiting the skin repairing.
