If it contains benzoyl peroxide this may be contributing to his sensitized skin. Whilst using these products i would recommend also using Lutsine hydrafnia cleanser and moisturizer. They are especially made for spot-prone skin which has become irritated due to acne therapy. Look online for delivery or stockists in your area. How old is your son? If long-term use of anti-biotics has proved ineffective, he may be a candidate for oral accutane.

I do not know if there is anything specifically geared towards pregnancy- I am sure there is. I like the 'skin deep' section on the environemental working groups page. Hey,im getting horrible pregnancy acne.ive always been prone to acne bt after taking meds when i was young it cleard up heaps but when im pregnant it flares up really bad around my chin and mouth area, nothings helping and its really knocking my confidence as i use to get teased 4 it badley.any advice? One brand I recommend, and I recommend buying it from a discount place, since it's a little on the expensive side, is called Weleda, which is a German company. The boxes and containers are pink, so they do stand out. The one I use when I need something extra gentle is called Almond Cleansing Lotion.

since I have sensitive skin I cannot use the anti-acne drugstore products. Shall I continue to wash my face with water containing dead seasalt or is the salt too harsh for sensitive skin?

I'd like to know if the derivatives of coconut oil are okay for acne prone skin, if coconut oil itself is highly comedogenic. I have really oily skin aside from the very edges of my jaw. Would anyone happen to know?

I have been recently using Clearasil Ultra acne products, but only on my face and have started using Ambi scar fading cream. I dont know if those are the causes or not. I need a professional opinion from a dermatologist because I am freaking out about it. I'll post a picture of what they look like.

Thing is, i know that I will need to keep applying it on a regular basis or else my acne prone skin breaks out sooner or later. The key is to find a regimen that works for you to keep acne at bay, instead of treating it when it appears and then letting it go and then breaking out again-only to repeat the cycle. Drinking lots of water does help a lot too. I also go for steam cleansing once in a while to clean my pores. Another thing that works beautifully for me are chemical peels.
