I suggest the use of products that are hypoallergenic and also with organic ingredients such as vitamin C and E. Anti aging products may also be beneficial especially for women with fine lines and wrinkles. A healthy diet,decrease intake of fatty food, cessation of smoking,adequate sleep and daily exercise will ensure not just great skin but also a healthy body in general.

I have not had any breakous for about 2 months since using clindamycin during the day, and sulfacetamide at night. I just recently added the retin-a becasue i wanted some anti-aging benefit. Also, i would like to add an antioxidant serum to my skin since i live in florida and want to protect my skin from UV etc.Do you recommend anything that wont break me out. When would i apply it before or after clindamycin? I use blue lizard face suncream as my spf.

I just want to thank you for taking the time to respond to my "Horrible Hives on Face" post. I also thought a follow-up comment may be helpful to others with a similar problem. After a week of misery with the hives covering my face, I finally got some relief by seeing an allergist who prescribed prednisone (oral steroid) which he said was stronger than the medrol pack, along with a prescription hydrocortisone cream to be used 2x day.

I have the same thing I tried everything Benadryl, calymine lotion, avenoo extra dry skin lotion, soaking in oat meal bath, and I even tried a anti fungal cream my Dr prescribed and nothing works. Mine gets worse at night, my Dr said some women just get it. Its called the pregnancy itch. Only thing thats helped me is taking Luke warm baths in the morning and right before I go to bed. Hot water makes it worse.

ve been having body itching even prior to my pregnancy and been taking anti hestamine meds ever since, my OB prescribe another anti hestamine during my pregnancy and says this is safe, but question is, i've been relying a lot on this meds, im afraid of the side effect it might bring to my baby if il take this prolong. Does anyone have a good recommendation for a lotion to use to calm itching? Its not just on my belly (that's actually where it bothers me the least) but for all over? I've tried Aveeno anti itch lotion with menthol...doesn't help..i use Calgon lotion right now, its 24 hour moisture stuff which works ok but sometimes i still get an itch attack as i call them. I haven't heard of any of this anti-aging stuff with these two supplements. I use Alpha Lipoic Acid (ALA) to help with peripheral neuropathy. Yes, I regularly consult my OBG, she prescribed me a caladryl lotion just to try if it will improve. She told me that some pregnant women like in the case of me is natural. the lotion is not with the anti-itch stuff. It is with the other lotions. I get mine at Target or Walmart. But again, it is not with the cortizone, etc. With the lotions.

some poeple use aging lotion on their hands....the same kind one would use on face. it might get expensive though. for instance, oil of olay for wrinkles.

I sent my husband to get me some anti itch lotion cause i ran out

It drove me crazy. The Dr. said it was a rash some women get when pg. i only had it with my dd. I am hoping it doesn't happen this time around. I used the aveno lotion, it seemed to help a little. Your Dr may be able to give you better advice or something else to help.
