I took some medicine to reduce this and it seemed to go away after a few days. Soon after, the skin under my left eye was totally normal but then I noticed that the discomfort under my right eye remained. If you are 70 years old the likelihood is that you have a cataract also in your left side also and that is what is causing the night glare. A congential cataract is by definition present since birth.
