Can someone give me some advice to overcome 'anorexia'(that what my doctor says). I guess you can say im jealous of my big brother because he can eat anything without getting fat. Which is really annoying since I always watch what I eat and I still am fat. My big brother is 17 and he 6,4 and only weighs 122 pounds. Im 15 and 5,5 and weigh 92.5 pounds. And believe me when I say my brother doesn't have a eating disorder.
Yes you can have stomach pain along with many other symptoms. Anorexia and Anorexia Nervosa are actually two different things.. Anorexia is simply not eating, it doesn't necessarily mean you don't WANT to eat, just a lack of eating for whatever reason. Anorexia Nervosa (what people are usually talking about when they use the term Anorexia) is when you don't eat because you think you are fat, or you have a strong fear of gaining weight.
i have been suffering from Anorexia for five years, and the last two of those years developed bulimia as welll. im 23 years old. after 5 years, i broke down and asked my mom for help, becasue my hair is falling out and my weight has consumed everry part of my life, I cant be happy or function if my bodies not tiny and thin.
I'm having a very tough time at college. I have been trying to recover from Anorexia for over a year. I was doing well at home. I was making my own foods and increasing my calories. I moved away for college and I want to go home. I'm doing much worse than before. I cannot make my own food since I live in a dorm and I always feel tired because I can't sleep right, my bones and joints ache, I get dizzy, urinate frequently, and feel very full after I eat anything.
t happen over night and doing it right will keep it off longer... With anorexia the second you start to eat your body holds in everything including the fat because it knows you will starve it again. Also when you stop eating your body will start to eat itself (including your muscles). You can do this hun... keep it up and persevere.
I think my friend is anorexic. In her family it is awkward, she is very fussy with food and gets no dinner every night. She could get some round her nan's next door but chooses not to. She does not think she is fat but at 16 she weighs under 7 stone. Her mum (who doesn't help the problem in the slightest) has told my mum that my friends periods have been all over the place and not following a normal pattern. She knows she is welcome to have food round my house.
She has Anorexia Nervosa and I would like some advice on how to help her. I am 24 and she is only 17. She is 5 feet tall, and only wiehgs 69 pounds!!!!!!!!!!! TOO LOW!!! I am worried becuz lately, she has been passing out and she will have these uncontrolable tremors. It scares me, she tells me she is fine, but i don't think so. She looks horrible, Here skin color is like paper white

My Stepdad is always caling me ugly .. And when i look in the mirror i believe it sometimes, all my friends say i'm beautiful. But i don't feel Beautiful. i have a problem, I hardly ever eat anymore :( i starve myself. I'm 5'3 and 100 pounds and i'm scared that i'll become anorexic, When i don't eat i get headaches, I always carry Ibuprofen with me, i take atleast 2 or 3 a day, I just really need help ..
So my friend me and another girl were all kinda talking. Then my friend said that anorexic models and people who are anorexic are dumb. Then the other girl agreed that they are stupid and should eat a sandwhich. Last year I didn't eat any lunch and it was a very low point in my anorexia, and all my friends knew about it. Especially this one. I know that she knows I have anorexia. Does she think I'm stupid too? She is by no means a mean person.
My friend has been diagnosed with anorexia. She is fifteen and eats less than 500 calories a day. Getting changed for PE her stomach is concave and her ribs stick out. I'm really worried about her and want to know if there's anything I can do to help her get better. Please help!
