hi, my 12 year old son was diagnosed with anorexia,bulimia and bipolar,currently hes under state custody due to all hospital and clinics stays over the last year,including 8-10 weeks at dallas child. hosp..... every time he came home he will start all over again...so now im geting ready for him to come back,maybe by end of jan. 2010, but i feel that im not ready,that i have to do more research andget ppl from my fam.

t happen over night and doing it right will keep it off longer... With anorexia the second you start to eat your body holds in everything including the fat because it knows you will starve it again. eating disorder NOS means that you meet the criteria for having an eating disorder but you do not meet the criteria for anorexia or bulimia. i had no issues with body image whatsoever. you may have an eating disorder or you may just be experiencing loss of appetite due to your pre-existing condition. whatever the underlaying problem is it needs to be fixed..
