As my DD is in Keppra, and has previously been on other seizure meds, the Keppra, by far has had the least amount of side-effects. You could ask if some of her mood changes, memory loss, etc. are from the stroke vs. the Keppra. Please do not wean her off the medication without a Dr's directive... that could cause withdrawal seizures.

As I can remember it always occur around dawn, when my bladder is also filled with pee + this good feeling that it makes my penis hard. The feeling is so great and after that, it hurts.. I am really sorry to hear about your father’s condition .Itching could occur after stroke if the stroke is in the thalamus area of the brain which receives the sensory information of pain , touch , temperature , pressure and other sensations from all over the body . The onset may be from days to weeks after the stroke . Topical therapy with moisturizers and emollients helps alleviate the itching . Treatment with amitriptylene 50 mg a day results in resolution of the itching .
I have been searching for information on the web about hair loss after a stroke. I had a subarachnoid hemorrhagic stroke from a brain aneurysm in January of 2010. Two things; first, Google "cold burning sensation after stroke". You will find the answer to this being the after effects of a stroke and some what to do's. My wife aged 71 got diabetes type 2 as a result of stroke or medicines on stroke. As a result of stroke after six months or as aresult of medicines on stroke got vascular dementia. She forgets and repeats many time sthe same thing. Or these may be the results of after effects of stroke. She is stable on medines for some time but there is gradual decline in her cognitive abilities. Many times she had falls. we stopped making efforts so that she could independtly walk. Fearing her falls.
I think you should give your cat a few days at least before putting him down. I've heard of cats coming around after these effects after a week.

The adverse effects of Effexor overdose are- vertigo, dizziness, nausea, numbness/tingling in the hands or feet, sleepiness, rapid or slow heartbeat, low blood pressure, seizures, or coma. Since you had taken a heavy overdose and that too pills expired 5 yrs back, the adverse effects would be even worse in severity.

Hi, I had a right sided stroke two weeks ago. I was life flighted to the ER where they ran all the tests to make sure it was a stroke. They gave me the clot busting drugs which reversed the effects of the stroke. but I'm having both numbness in both hands and arms. Does anyone have any answers?
My mother in law had a stroke back at the beginning of March. She has severe arthritis in one knee in particular and has difficulty rehabbing because the knee fills with blood due to the arthritis and she cannot get to the point of standing to do the therapy. The coumadin has left her depressed, dizzy, cold and overall loss of appetite. She wants to recover but this drug is very difficult. It comes to the point of quality of life...
I have taken the morning after pill 4 times within one month, about 4 days between each. I would like to know how much this would of offset my period?
My last period was 6th June lasting about 5 days. I know the M.A.P can delay a period, but because I have taken so much how much will it delay it by?
