Avatar n tn Tell me please, what effects does 4-5 yrs of amphetamine(addreall) use have on the heart of a 9-10 yr old child? What part of the heart does this effect? Have you seen aortic stenosis or any other valvular problems? Please help!!!
1627868 tn?1333886342 Sorry to hear you gals have been feeling down. I do hope that you feel better soon. Sarah, Wellbutrin is a pretty good anti-depressant, and as you mentioned, a stop smoking aid. Do be aware though, that as it breaks down in your system, it turns into a by product of amphetamine. So, I don't remember if you are working or not, but if you have to take a drug test for any reason, make sure you tell them this.
Avatar m tn I used to help me study ) at approx 11pm on 5/2/14 and I have a drug test on 5/6/14 (I am leaving to basic training) I need to know if it will test positive on a drug test as an amphetamine and if it will be out of my system by then (I am a female 5'1/134lbs age 19) I normally drink a lot of water and urinate frequently. Will that help the vyvanse to exit my system faster?
1861446 tn?1320445285 I am personally a great fan of amino acids and vitamins. Amphetamine in particular takes a lot out of your body. Good info on the amino acid protocols in the MedHelp archives - or simply put amino acid protocols in the search engine and have some good reading. Keep p[osting for support....
Avatar f tn I am male, 58 years old, with no history of cardiac problems. Is it possible that my previous Adderall use caused the atrial fibrillation that I am currently experiencing?
Avatar m tn I am healthy and very aware of changes in my body. I have not taken the Naproxen today, nor have I taken amphetamine today, because this is frightening for me. I am going to have to see a new physician, because my current physician is an obvious pill pusher and doesn't take his job seriously. He is obviously also lazy when it comes to anything that involves challenge.
Avatar n tn Are there any studies related to the long term use of pseudoephedrine-triprolidine? I took this over the counter medication for over 20 years. I am 40 years old now, and am experiencing many ailments, that the doctors can't identify cause. B12 deficiency, Diabetes, High Cholesterol, digestive issues, persistant rashes, depression, lethargy, heart issues, and the list goes on. I have looked all over the internet and I cannot find anything. Surely some studies have been done.
Avatar m tn However from what I have read, it will show up in the initial screening as a general amphetamine. After a positive initial screening, the sample will be further tested using a different methodology that will specify the type of amphetamine. Of course, if you have taken your generic version of adderall after the concerta for a couple of days. That should be what shows up. But, I would think that as long as you have the prescription for the adderall, you should be ok.
Avatar n tn I get it while im sitting in front of my PC and get sudden emotions or suddenly excited ( such as seeing new awesome pic of a friend or a scary one ). Also i experience it while doing pushups, like my stomach is slightly itching from inside. Avatar n tn The position of pitcher (and that of *catcher*) are unique to baseball for the repetitive use of core and leg strength to perform at a high level, and thus this activity builds muscle in these areas. For this reason I suspect that pitching should be graded differently than the generic sport of baseball in the "sports classification" table.

Avatar n tn I have two sons with ADHD. The 'upper meds' 'boots' is talking about are the ones the are in the amphetamine class...extremely addictive, if abused. Ritilan, Adderal, Focalin, Daytrana are a few more in that class. He/she also added that they are an recovering addict, so I assume that they have abused, or are afraid that they will abuse these meds. Boots: I know of one that isn't an 'upper'. It's called 'Concerta'.
Avatar f tn Also be aware that some diseases can also have the same symptoms including SLE and also that habitual drug use, in particular amphetamine abuse can also produce symptoms not unlike bipolar disease in particular pychosis and mania. Trying to diagnose someone else can be hard but if you know someone who you suspect my be bipolar then a doctor is a good starting point.
Avatar f tn Adderal is an amphetamine and amphetamine are not serotenergic or not that i heard of. Adderal will work with you dopamine and norepinephrine neurotransmitters. This med will give you a lot of energy, euphoria, and reduce your appetite. It is safe to take all 3 meds together without worrying about serotonin syndrome. If you really don't like the Adderal I would suggest you talk to your doctor about trying an SNRI like Effexor or Cymbalta.
Avatar m tn Typically pre-employment drug testing looks for specific substances (opiates, cocaine, amphetamine and THC, etc.) Interferon and ribavarin should not affect the outcome. Don't worry about it too much. Good luck in your job hunt.
