I put my daughter on a amphetamine after i see the effects and benefits and try other things like behavior management and therapy. It helped a little but when my daughter was getting Ds and Fs in school and could not sit for more then 10 mins and talking out in class and other things that you do not need to know. I had decided that it is time to take other action and put her on meds.

It can be a side effect of Ritalin (methylphenidate), Adderall (dextro/levo-amphetamine) and Lunesta (eszopiclone) and other prescription drugs or of cocaine or amphetamines. There are no OTC drugs that contain actual amphetamine, if that's what you mean! And it's restricted even with a prescription.

the adderall listed is an amphetamine and shouldnt be taken during pregnancy anyway.. so it seems like your friend needs to look at her situation and determine what is more important.. a baby that fails a drug test for drugs she was supposidly prescribed.... or if her baby is going to be healthy due to her taking meds that isn't recommended during pregnancy... i think she'd be concerned about the health of the baby.
My pulse is exceptionally weak and my blood pressure is 156/90 after taking one (1) 500mg Naproxen and an amphetamine. I went and got my blood pressure checked, as well as my resting heart rate. The nurse never actually tried to feel my pulse, though. So I came home and I am very worried about how weak my pulse is. Has anybody heard weather or not taking Naproxen with an amphetamine can be harmful because it is not in the drug facts and I cannot find anything about it online either.
Concerta is a methylphenidate based medicine, while Vyvanse is an amphetamine based med. Usually you go to an amphetamine based because your methylphenidate is not working for you.
The only possible reason I can think of to take both would be to turn off your mind at night so you could go to sleep and stay asleep. But, I doubt that you could find a doctor to prescribe for this.

Like Tuck said, did the same two physicians prescribe these drugs together? To me, this sounds unusual putting an Amphetamine and an opiate together. I almost seems dangerous. Call the Pharmacy or the Doc who did the prescribing. They will have a good answer. There are no Doctors in this forum and it seems like a good question to ask a professional.

NOW I am no Dr but I have been studying Addiction and the map of the Brain for over 4 yrs now, and just read all about these mental disorders and using substances to feel better. Have you ever talked with a specialist?
FYI, paroxetine has a reputation as being one of the hardest psychotropic drugs to withdraw from. Also, it sounds like you are certain that you have anxiety and depression, and that is what the paroxetine is for. And paroxetine does not particularly have a reputation for keeping people awake at night, at least not that I have ever heard of.

Hi, I took some amphetamine type drugs and they shrunk my private parts greatly. This went on for a good 24 hour period. I kind of noticed that they were shrunk more than they should be but I didn't take any action or know what to do. The shrink went away after I slept off the drugs.
