I know amphetamine is the metabolite of methamphetamine, when you ingest meth, you have both methamphetamine and amphetamine in your urine, hair, or nails. I am about to lose my children over this and I swear I am not a user of methamphetamine. I know meth can be transferred through skin contact, is it possible contact with my husband after he uses such as laying with him, touching his clothes, kissing him, etc can make me fail the sensitive drug tests??

Basically it is an antidepressant. Has no stimulants in it. Thus I would think that it should pose no problem with urine or hair tests - unless, they are screening for antidepressants.

I put my daughter on a amphetamine after i see the effects and benefits and try other things like behavior management and therapy. It helped a little but when my daughter was getting Ds and Fs in school and could not sit for more then 10 mins and talking out in class and other things that you do not need to know. Is there anyone out there who knows more about amphetamine addicts and Naltrexone Implants? I appreciate Naltrexone is primarily used for heroin addicts and alcoholics, however, my boyfriend can't be the only meth addict who has been given this implant....and there doesn't seem to be anyone either of us can relate to or discuss what he's going through on this one. The way you are taking it builds tolerance, as you found out, and the same addiction issues as a meth addict. Detox of amphetamines definitely causes depression, but depression alone doesn't cause eating disorders on it's own.

I'm curious if you have diagnosed with adhd? When used properly, adhd medications are not suppose to give you this burst of energy to clean or anything like that. When that happens, it is being used as speed. Then you are taking sleep aides and Xanax to come back down? Anyway, your pupils are dialated because it is an amphetamine and your body is reacting to it. You'll have to judge whether that is worth it. Every medication has an up side and a down side.

After reading this I went back and read your other post. When you talk about Meth are your referring to Methamphetamine or Methadone? Because the "voices" you hear and the turning off of the light so no one can see you seems like you would be talking about methamphetamine. If that's so, you may want to seek professional help. I grew up with many friends on methamphetamine who started hearing voices while on meth and they continued even after quitting.
i am not prescribed methamphetamine. while yes methamphetamine is highly addictive and highly abused. IT CAN BE PRESCRIBED FOR ADHD AND WEIGHTLOSS. Meth is a schedule 2 drug which means that it has a HIGH POTENTIAL FOR ABUSE but HAS MEDICAL USES. I dont believe it is used much at all but it is out there under the brand name of DESOXYN. i was curious if anyone out there was taking it. cocaine is schedule 2 as well. They can be prescribed.
