I have a wisdom tooth that is abscessed. I have 250 mg amoxicillin capsules that are not expired from a previous illness. The RX was for me so I am going to use them. What is the correct dosage for a 41 year old man weighing 210 lbs? thank you.

Well, I stated googling and of course panicked. I immediately took (expired) doxy, first 200, and than 5 days 2 x 100. No symptoms appeared, but I have avoided sex with my wife for 2 weeks ("fortunately" I had an excuse - sport injury). After 2 weeks we had sex and of course - next days symptoms appeared as slight burn after (not during) urination and more frequent urge tu urinate. Absolutely no discharge. Nothing spectacular, but I wanted to kill myself.

Considering I was recently arrested for doctor shopping, you can imagine how much I do not want to go to a doctor. I have some amoxicillin. It would be nice to get a steroid shot or something, but I am way to terrified to see a physician. Most of them wouldn't see me anyway. In the past, I would use strep throat as am excuse to get Vicodin. I would pill up and lie in bed. Now, I just feel like road kill. This really *****.

If the test strips were kept sealed they "probably" are good. The sure way to test this is to take a blood sample with a strip that has not expired, and then shortly afterwards, use a strip from the "expired" container. If readings are comparable, it suggests the "expired" strips are good to use.

Does anyone know if amoxicillin is safe to take during pregnancy. I am 19 weeks 2 Days and I am concerned. I went to my primary care physician because I have been having a sore throat and really bad headaches. My ob said there is nothing he can do because its really not pregnancy related and its gotten to the point of unbareable. He said I had a bad viral infection and strep throat. I am just really concerned about taking any meds while im preggo.

I'm taking amoxicillin and my cheeks are very red, like i'm sunburnt, and very hot. It's only on my cheeks no where else on my face or body. I've been givien this same medicine many times and have never had this reaction, The only other thing I can think about is I was given a corticosteroid shot and nasal spray called Fluticasone. It's not shown as a side effect of the nasal spray, but could it be from one of these other medicines. Should I call my pharmacist or doctor?

I just started my amoxicillin so I can't say anything about all symptoms yet. I do know that the LLMD prescribed me Kapidex and it may one of the reasons I am not having heartburn. Usually these medicines give me bad gastric problems, but so far it's been not great, but not painful either. You may want to ask if you can get Kapidex.

Hello, I was told by a doctor I might have a chest infection so she put me on 500mg of amoxicillin three times a day. I'm also on diazepam for muscle spasms and anxiety.
