192055 tn?1263559137 The bleeding is like a pinhole in a water pipe. It's not red blood. It's liquid that leaks for a long period of time and accumulates in the throat because it's the natural way to flow. In the evening before I go to bed, I take a drop of cooking oil and dab it inside the nostrils. One drop each. That coats them and keeps any leak, stopping them. Plus, it loosens the mucus in a dry nose and clears the way. 2.
Avatar n tn Pot which you can purchase at your local drugstore. It is a little pot you fill with luke warm water and mix in a saline packet then tilt your head to the side, insert in one nostril and it will eventually flow out the other nostril, cleaning your sinusus...I renamed it the snoti pot :) I was hesitant at first but actully works great and feels good...almost gives you the sensation you've been swimming all day if you know what I mean.
4043517 tn?1374010173 Today is Monday, at work wishing I was home in bed. Saturday took a hard spill on the bike down the river bank hitting rocks along the way and flayed the skin off my arm. Now worrying about an infection, I have the arm wrapped up mostly, but it hurts so much, my left leg, ribs etc are crying. Not to mention the daily abdomen, back and shoulder pain throbbing through.
3060903 tn?1398568723 Ecowatch mentions Uzbekistan, the sixth leading producer of cotton, where irrigation for cotton plantations have led to the depletion of water in the Aral Sea and the subsequent failure of fisheries in the area. In a mere 50 years, the water level in the Aral Sea has diminished to where it is now less than 10 percent of its former level.
4043517 tn?1374010173 I picture something like the mucinex commercial where the virus are all sitting around playing cards and smoking cigars in their foul smelling cavernous home when suddenly, tonight a vaguely noxious canister of death was released into their den. I see them stopping, feeling something isn't quite right as they stare at each other. Well, you little bastards, something isn't quite right for you any longer. I am stopping your breeding program as of tonight and soon you are going to be on the run.
Avatar f tn Some will post it's all in your head, some are all for it, as in many things, a personal decision for you. Me personally......years of seeing Dr.'s to no avail, no proper exam from her....she sent me straight for Hep test! Sold me.
Avatar m tn Don’t submerge the top of the squeeze bottle in the hot tap water, because water from your hot water heater has things you don’t want to know about. When the bottle is warm, put it in your shower . Turn on your shower as hot as is comfortable and jump in. The heat and the steam will loosen the mucus in your nose and nasal cavity.
Avatar f tn But with this forum, we basically have a bunch of folks who have jumped in that icy river and survived, thus proving it can be done. Not painless, but possible.
233616 tn?1312790796 I live on the ocean and (hopefully) will be treating soon. I know enuf to stay out of the sun and the water during tx, but in the title of this thread you included beachwalks. Is just being on the sand a risk factor? Don't mean to sound dumb--but alarm bells went off seeing that and the link didn't mention that part. Any input from anyone is appreciated.

Avatar n tn By using a water softener which used salt to soften the water could help. I think your answer could very well be in your water even if you don't have a well. Buy a kit at the store to test your water. Your pipes could be a problem too if you don't have a well. Anyway I hope you get your answer.

Avatar f tn He would eat ice cubes and drink water, chicken mcNuggets (to give him the meds) but didn't have interest in food. I started to feed him through a syringe which he'd look at me with eyes like "what are you doing daddy?" It was a mess. But after 7 weeks of constant fluids, meds, feedings, egg whites, low protein treats, he just seems like he's had enough. I feel for everyone on this site as I was in shock that at 7 yr old he had this horrible disease. How did he get it?
Avatar m tn The doctor never did see the bugs on us, but gave elomite and we had all the clothes, sheets, etc. washed in hot water. Scabies do tend to cause itching more at night. We got better after the treatment.
Avatar f tn You can also mix 60 gm of grind pumpkin seeds (with the peel) with honey and water. Eat the mixture in 3 portions every 2 hours. It is said to be the best solution for pinworms. 3 - Make sure to include garlic and lots of spices (especially curry) in every single meal you cook, also swallowing one garlic a day (as a whole, like a pill) helps too. You can also just eat 2-3 garlics a day. Another solution is adding honey to mashed garlic cloves and eating it 2-3 times a day for a week.

551343 tn?1506834118 I have been diagnosed with MS, but my journey was not a walk in the park and I can surely relate to what others in this group are going through. If I can help in any way, I will be very happy to do so. I also have one more thing to say and that is that my doctor's say there might be another neurological issue or enzyme deficiency issue that is contributing to my symptoms. I am working through that process and perhaps this forum will help me in some way with that issue as well.
