I have heard of this and it isn't safe at all nor remotely accurate. Urine has ammonia in it and when ammonia and bleach mix it releases a very toxic gas, and almost always when urine hits bleach it will fiz or foam that's what creates the gas. I had a friend who tried this once in high school, (just for fun, she wasn't pregnant nor did she want to be) and she ended up in the hospital from the gas it created. Sorry didn't mean to scare you just stating the facts.
It probably has nothing to do with the gender of your baby, but if the bleach foams and fizzles it could mean there is a larger than normal amount of ammonia in your urine. This could indicate a health problem, or it could simply mean that you are dehydrated. It is also possible that, if the concentration of ammonia is high enough, chlorine gas will form.
My answer is none of the above.
As pointed out both of them are relatively useless information. Your body ONLY uses FT3.
Measuring FT4 is like determining how well your car runs by looking at the gas level in the fuel tank. Certainly you need gas in the tank in order to run well. But that doesn't mean the engine is operating well even if the tank is full.
Measuring TSH is like measuring the response of the Throttle of the car.
Urine has ammonia in it. Ammonia mixed with bleach makes a VERY toxic gas.
Just as a fuel gage in a car is not COMPLETLY useless as you do need a supply of gas and knowing that there is fuel in the tank provides SOME information. Just not the entire picture.

High concentrations are really dangerous, but low concentrations could be tolerated by other humans. You can have a blood test to check the levels of ammonia in your blood, but I’ve not got round to investigating it yet. I’m convinced it’s a gas or a toxin linked to one of our bio-chemical body reactions. One day it will all make sense.
In the case of a school, professional help is advised, but in a bathroom use a spray bottle with 100% ammonia, go in, hold your breath and spray a three foot by three foot area. You should practice this. The idea is NOT to inhale any of the fumes. NEVER EVER USE AMMONIA AND BLEACH! NEVER! Mixed together they form a poisonous gas. Then leave the house to take care of errands. In an hour or two come back and do another three foot by three foot portion, and again leave the house.
However if you choose a diet rich in fiber you may be able to skip that. It will depend on your ammonia levels which a blood test will reveal. You need to get to 3 good bowel movememnts a day to keep blood ammonia down, which is the largest cause of brain fog. If you treat for hep C with SOC you should also see a drop in this problem as your liver returns to normal function and enymes levels.
If the liver is decompromised it cannot metabolize the waste products hence there is an elevation of blood ammonia levels resulting in increased excretion in the urine. Also, increased levels of ammonia may also be seen with gastrointestinal bleeding, where the blood cells are haemolysed in the intestines, releasing protein. Please discuss this with your doctor am sure he will provide further assistance.

Ha ha ha........My husband pumps all the gas in the winter time. Isn't he a doll.. Today in NC I believe we are hovering somewhere aroung $3.06 to $3.15...............But gas prices have never stopped us from doing what we want............Like trips to the beach 3 hours away or trips to the mountains 3 hours away..............Riding the Harley every weekend that it is pretty............ We just keep going.

To be conclusive for Hashimoto's you NEED to test for BOTH TPOab and TGap.
People with Hashimoto's will test positive (meaning above range) for one or the other and some people even both Antibody's. So if you just test for one you have NOT ruled out whether or not you may have Hashi.
Ask your Dr why the hell would you be testing a pituitary hormone instead of the ACTUAL thyroid hormone my body actually uses!

You could try the following remedies.
To be on the safe side, don't mix chlorine bleach with anything -- or just avoid chlorine bleach altogether.
We all know that the gas could be hydrogen sulfide or methane or someting nitrous depending on what consume. But this doesnt explain how it passes through glass windows/doors.
The sun emits infrared / UV radiations that can penetrate through glass and hence heat up our car interiors. Obviously, this heat radiations that the sun emits is odorless but perhaps our bodies emit similar radiations that are heaty and suffocating.
I am 37 y/o and not pregnant women,but since I was a child I have attraction for kerosene and gasoline, and know every time I go to gas station to full the tank of my car my mouth start watering really bad just for the smell of the gasoline and I just cannot controlled until I test it, if i don't do it, i will have a horrible heartburn and stomach cramps.

At first it feels like little flutters then it gets stronger...sometimes confused with gas lol then when you're really far along it does hurt sometimes but it's more uncomfortable and hard to breathe.

MY AMMONIA HAS BECOME ELEVATED AS HIGH AS 800. WHEN MY AMMONIA BECOMES ELEVATED, ENCEPHALOPATHY SETS IN. THIS CAUSES ME TO BECOME CONFUSED, DISORIENTED, AND UNSTEADY ON MY FEET. THIS IS USUALLY THE POINT WHERE I END UP IN THE HOSPITAL.
they said it was the oil . The oil tank got to full .
