hi there i am a chronic cluster headache sufferer and i worked on a electro chemical machine for 8 years,after 4 years i started getting very painfull headaches,i went to a neurologist and he diagnosed me with cluster headaches.after reaserch on my machine i was exposed to ammonia gas given off from sodium nitrate in the water,the ph level was 12 when i found out after ph of 7 ammonia gas is given off,i was not protected by any ppe.

I have heard of this and it isn't safe at all nor remotely accurate. Urine has ammonia in it and when ammonia and bleach mix it releases a very toxic gas, and almost always when urine hits bleach it will fiz or foam that's what creates the gas. I had a friend who tried this once in high school, (just for fun, she wasn't pregnant nor did she want to be) and she ended up in the hospital from the gas it created. Sorry didn't mean to scare you just stating the facts.

Milacon gas drops, I'd your pumping or formula feeding. If your formula feeding, maybe try simalac almentium. It's hypoallergenic and works wonders.

Urine has ammonia in it. Ammonia mixed with bleach makes a VERY toxic gas.

There is more than one variety, and a specialist is needed to determine the specific type. Generally ammonia will destroy this kind of mold. I know people recommend other liquids, but ammonia is the way to go. Before using the ammonia the room should be "dewatered" with use of one of more dehumidifiers. These molds like moist places.

I heard it was the ammonia in windex so as long as u get the ammonia free u should be ok but id talk to my dr first

We had a similar issue with her formula until I tried soy Similac. She continued to have gas but, it was manageable. She also has reflux. She is on medication for the reflux, we feed her upright and small portions, burp often. We use Mylicon and Gripe Water. On the days we do not give her baby food, just formula she will sleep through the night and her gas is milder and manageable. Will she grow out of this or does this indicate a more serious problem?

However if you choose a diet rich in fiber you may be able to skip that. It will depend on your ammonia levels which a blood test will reveal. You need to get to 3 good bowel movememnts a day to keep blood ammonia down, which is the largest cause of brain fog. If you treat for hep C with SOC you should also see a drop in this problem as your liver returns to normal function and enymes levels.

I believe that we emit ammonia from our bodies due to to the imbalance in our stomach and digestive track. Are bodies cannot get rid of the excess ammonia properly so it comes out through our pores causing people to sneeze and itch. I'm not a doctor, but I've had this long enough to know this is part of our problem.

They just suggest you use a non ammonia formula and be in a well ventilated area. The smell may cause you to become sick. Also as Tiffany stated....it could come out a shade different due to hormones (best to do in second trimester hormones start to level out)!

So I'm using the enfamil gas nd fuzziness just change to this couple days ago nd my baby keeps having diarrhea should I be worried...I breastfeed as well I give formula when I go out and at night..

My oldest was like that. I had to switch to a sensitive formula. Little did we know she had a allergy to milk and all the gas and not pooping was being caused by that.

Just keep in mind switching formula every other can may cause constipation and painful gas.

There are some bacteria in the gut that produce hydrogen sulfide gas. Sometimes this gas is produced in such huge quantities that the sulfide oxidase enzyme in the wall of the gut is not able to oxidize all of it and convert it to thiosulfate. Hence the gas enters the blood stream and gets filtered by kidney into the urine. This gas has a smell of rotten eggs. You can test its presence by test strips available OTC.

Now that she is on formula, we started out using regular similac formula, then began using gentlelease enfamil and gentlelease similac, nothing works. She becomes constipated every now and then as well, I don't know what else to do because I know there is not much you can do becuase of their young age. My sister has suggested soy formula, but if that doesn't work, I'm scared that she may have a digestion problem. She is currently using nestle formula for fussy and gassy babies.

Some babies are just going to be gassy. I'm breastfeeding my daughter and sometimes she gets her milk in bottles if I'm gone and regardless of how she gets her milk she has massive burps and spits up. One of my sons was the exact same way. Maybe its the formula and you need to try a different kind. Or you could try giving him gas drops. I've never had luck with them but I know some moms swear by them.

Every baby is different on what formula they can use and keep down. I did research on formulas though. They are basically all the same but they say enfamil is closest to early breast milk..

Hi there, I once had the same question you have now. I believe that the lactulose reduces the ammonia in your gut and brain and that's why it is important to take, if the ammonia gets too high it can cause you to have problems thinking, driving, cooking etc. I am not as good as explaining things as Hector so I have taken one of his explanations and am pasting it here. I also just read an explanation that the lactulose helps your body do the job the liver would do if it was working right.

My newborn is 6 days old and has been havin really bad gas. and everytime she farts she poops. like explosive poop but its not like diaherria. its just soft poop. it happens when she sneezes too. im concerned she has a digestive issue. any ideas? btw shes usin breastmilk and formula.

Its for colic, gas, teething and even hiccups. Its basically gas drops but works for more then just gas problems. My daughter was just a few days old when her dr. Recommended it. It was a major life saver.

For long term try changing the formula to a lower iron one ( if it does have iron). Another issue could maybe the baby needing soy formula. Sometimes the lactose in the milk based formula causes constipation. I had to give my daughter a portion of a glycerin suppository to help get. But Idk if you can give it that small. Check again with the pediatrician.

but it works he is a much happier baby but I might change his formula also to the similac colic one also to see if that will help too..and I never knew how expensive gas meds were like a small bottle of gas meds that geber makes it 30 bucks !!
