Hello,
I am 35 years old and have a big problem. I don't really no why, but I started to feel bad smell on my skin and hairs. It's strong, like amonium or something like that, I'm not sure.
I take a bath three times a day, sometimes even more. Nothing helps.
I had a brother and a sister, who died a few month after birth. They had many problems wiht heart, and abdominal organs and also polycystic kidneys a polycystic liver. I do not no, if I have that as well.

My dogs bun level in at 122 up from 85 in December. He is a Laasa Apso age 16. Liver and heart are fine.
Phosphorus level is 9.6.
My vet has only said this will get worse. So far he is not vomiting but has loss of interest in food and it is a real challenge to get him to eat anything. He sleeps most of the time. My vet has me giving him B12 shots every 3 days.
Other than suggesting a low protein diet and Standard Process renal support he hasn't offered me anymore suggestions.
I have heard of this and it isn't safe at all nor remotely accurate. Urine has ammonia in it and when ammonia and bleach mix it releases a very toxic gas, and almost always when urine hits bleach it will fiz or foam that's what creates the gas. I had a friend who tried this once in high school, (just for fun, she wasn't pregnant nor did she want to be) and she ended up in the hospital from the gas it created. Sorry didn't mean to scare you just stating the facts.
There is more than one variety, and a specialist is needed to determine the specific type. Generally ammonia will destroy this kind of mold. I know people recommend other liquids, but ammonia is the way to go. Before using the ammonia the room should be "dewatered" with use of one of more dehumidifiers. These molds like moist places.
What can be used to help repair skin that has suffered atrophy from the use of strong topical steroid creams? Or is it just something only time will heal? I've tried vitamin creams, emu oil, even Elidel with no real results! So then what really works?
I believe that we emit ammonia from our bodies due to to the imbalance in our stomach and digestive track. Are bodies cannot get rid of the excess ammonia properly so it comes out through our pores causing people to sneeze and itch. I was given ammonium lactate from a dermatologist for my eczema and serve itching on my arms. My arms looked like I had a sunburn and tender. I have discontinued the use of it. Like your grandma I landed up in the ER and incoherent from high ammonia levels but lactulose enabled me to think clearer. The root of the problem was the cirrhosis. For me, the cure was a liver transplant. I still have hep C but fortunately my liver has remained healthy.
The guide line I used for lactulose consumption was enough to have 2-3 soft bowel movements daily.
Besides using lactolose, she should stop eating red meat as it can increase the ammonia.
Fish, chicken and beans are fine.
However if you choose a diet rich in fiber you may be able to skip that. It will depend on your ammonia levels which a blood test will reveal. You need to get to 3 good bowel movememnts a day to keep blood ammonia down, which is the largest cause of brain fog. If you treat for hep C with SOC you should also see a drop in this problem as your liver returns to normal function and enymes levels.
