338963 tn?1253664422 I know that there came a point in my pregnancy at the beginning and at the end that the very SMELL of ammonia or bleach made me vomit. So I just stopped cleaning and made my hubby do it!
Avatar n tn Vinegar is also a great disinfectant and good for windows. Ammonia also is a no no with me....so no Windex for me. I could go on and on...please let me know if you have any more questions. I will be happy to help. I hope that your son's RAD gets under better control.
Avatar n tn BUGGED OUT, I BELIEVE YOU! It has been suggested to me by a psychiatrist that I have psychosis because I'm plagued by bugs crawling & biting me but when I brush them away, I don't see anything! I have had this problem off & on for many years! However, after reading your post, I began checking my fingernails & hands when I scratch or brush the bugs away & discovered that there are actually bugs!
Avatar n tn Oh my gosh,I am so glad I found this site, I thought I was going crazy, I want to eat fresh laid asphalt, anything at a construction site, drink bleach and gasoline, and anything with a strong smell, I also want to eat my sons sidewalk chalk when we are outside, not to mention wanting to crab ahandful of dirt and shoving it in my mouth, these cravings are overpowering Iwill salivate when we pass construction sites......
3060903 tn?1398568723 All-purpose or glass cleaner can be used in a pinch, but it's important to avoid ammonia, bleach, or abrasive cleaners on stainless steel. Abrasive sponges should also be avoided; all of these can alter the sink's finish. Thoroughly rinse out your sink. If you have a stainless sink, salt and acid in food can potentially damage the finish, so it's important to rinse food and liquids to prevent pitting. Sprinkle baking soda onto the surface. Working it into a paste, rinse thoroughly.
Avatar m tn its very tough to get it off you. not recomended but ive heard that the amonia content in windex helps kill this disgusting flea/ bed bug infestation. borax powder i hears is also usefull. my self im going to try to experiment with many things to find a cure for this crappy problem because i work night shift and i cant sleep because i get attacked while sleeping durring the day. ps.
Avatar m tn Hammer) does work to get these things under control...for most part! In laundry, bleach/borax/ammonia works the best! I think Long dryer cycles is what kills them, not hot water...although, I do let wash SOAK atleast couple hours-overnight! What do you use?? What works for you? I froze my bed over winter bc it was worst in the bed! I brought it in and laid on it within 5mins I swear crawling&covered w/these things again&again! Wth cud survive a deep freeze for 3+months in freaken WI????
472570 tn?1274689487 I came home and started a load of clothes in the washing machine. Whites first because I wanted to get Bleach in my machine first. They I started to wash all the clothes in my house and went through everything. Clothes that I wasn't wearing I just put in space bags and vacuumed the bags. The next load was my towels in hot water and a little bleach. Then all my clothes in hot water, tide detergent and a capful of vinegar.
Avatar f tn You see, it's the Ammonia that is in the Windex (which is the same ingredient in those Anti-Itch sticks for bug bites) that helps. It will "sting" a little at first (it's the ammonia that is killing bacteria) but it will stop the itch for a while! At night, take Benadryl about an hour before you want to go to sleep. It will knock you right out! I don't think that there is a permanent solution to our predicament, but I tell you, Windex/Ammonia is a great quick/useful fix!
Avatar f tn quite you're job and move into you're new apartment naked, take a shower there then bleach the tub out.make sure to take the medcine.then wait until you get kciked out for not paying the rent.Lets hope that got rid of them!!!!! I am in so much pain and give up.I just gotta get used to it I should be by now.
