Ammonia and nitrate test

Common Questions and Answers about Ammonia and nitrate test

Avatar m tn I have posted on this thread and the previous one over the years. While I would like to know what kind of pathogen(s) are causing this (and it is caused by pathogens i.e. it is not in your head when animals and babies react), medical technology does not seem to be refined enough to do that. PCR (DNA-based analysis) helps, but the pathogen has to be in the database and it is expensive to keep "rolling the dice" paying for this PCR test and that PCR test.
Avatar m tn Doctors rarely take a sample of pus from your nose and actually test it, in order to determine if it is a bacterial or viral infection. However, it’s a safe bet that a bacterial infection is present, because most of us already have bacterial in our upper respiratory tract.
Avatar f tn The Ph is 7.6, ammonia is less than .5 if any, nitrate is zero, Kh is 196.9, I cannot get the gh with my liquid test kit but on the strips it reads 180 which is the highest option. I have well water but buy distilled for my tanks. I thought adding half of the 110 gal tanks water would balanceout the new tank. It did not.
Avatar n tn Have any of the other 'alternatives' - from innocuous ginger and ginseng to potentially lethal chemical concoctions and blood boiling machines - passed the clinical trial test? No, plain and simple. Have Interferon/Riba? Yes, plain and simple. There are other promising treatments in testing - but they're MEDICINES too, not 'alternative' medicines (a contradiction in terms - either it's MEDICINE or it's not).
Avatar n tn here i for the last 6 months i have had itchy eye doctor told me it was due to mild allergies and prescribed eye drops which didnt help in the least so i turned to over the counter allergy medicine which hasn't helped either (so i dont think it's allergies) and in the last 3 weeks not only are my eyelids itchy but when i wake up in the morning my upper eye lids are bright red and swelled up so bad that its embarassing!!!!
