I use dishsoap on counters, vinegar water and dshsoap mixture on floors, water alone on mirrors, green or natural toilet bowl cleaner that has low odor, and antibacterial cleaning wipes that I wear gloves with in the bathroom that don't smell too strong. Vinegar on counter and cutting board when sanitizing. Vinegar and baking soda paste mixture in oven and let it sit before scrubbing. I never have used many chemicals to clean (except the bathroom). I felt it was still pretty sanitary.

t let me clean the shower even though I worry about her and the chemicals. Me being so parnoid i bought gloves and mask.

We shouldnt take in any strong or dangerous chemicals but all honesty i just try and use less of the product while cleaning and take little breaks in between to let smell die down

The pregnancy tracker says to not clean out your cats litter box due to parasites in the feces. I'm curious as to whether this is true for both cats AND dogs. I have a new puppy and she still occasionally poops in the cage at night. If I'm extremely careful of not getting it on me and washing my hands and arms thoroughly afterwards....will I be OK from catching those parasites? I'm approximately 7wks pregnant and I want to make sure I keep my growing baby healthy.

Yes, and it's bad for the dogs, too. I own a cat and have chemical sensitivities myself. So, this place is only cleaned with natural products. That industrial stuff, if it's still in the air when the dogs and people are there, that's not good for anyone. It's very bad for the people doing the cleaning, too. They need to use other cleaning products. The stuff they're using is too harsh and is dangerous for both the people and the animals.

You can use pretty much anything to clean your house, even ammonia.

The shedding you'll have to live with and just brush her daily. Is she receiving a good quality cat food (i.e. not one of the grocery store brands that contains as the main ingredient ground corn?). As far as the inappropriate urination, make sure you clean up the area so the smell of the urine doesn't remain (don't use ammonia). The cat will continue to be attracted to these places.

the really bad mix which can actually cause death is when you mix clorox and ammonia together like in the toilet....i have read that the vapors of that can kill people quickly in an enclosed area but i am not sure if it was a heart related death that happens or not...man o man was that a positive post....i don't think it has to do w. sensitivity i think it is just people who may have underlying heart issues..

It can be dangerous to the baby because of the ammonia. As long as it's litter box is cleaned on a regular basis you will be fine, and maybe have your S.O. take over the litter box cleaning while you are pregnant.

It got to painful and from taking them off and on and of course cleaning them it made my nipples really irritated? It was uncomfortable for me to feed.. So I just removed them...

I honestly have have discharge most of my pregnacy like my doctor give me medication and things but after about 2 or 3 days it would come back no oder or anything so my doctor said to keep cleaning until the baby come then he can continue to give me medication ... For the past few day I haven't have any dischrge think God but do u think it's a sign of labor cause I've been leaking fluid like water n i wear little pads now so that it won't leak all over..

t want to be intentionally breathing the fumes in from the strong cleaning products. For sure, never mix bleach and ammonia together. That's very toxic and can be deadly.

s not the problem. The problem is the pee and ammonia in the poo. If you use a mask like dentists use and gloves. Or just cover your mouth and nose with a plastic bag. (Don't suffocate) and clean it. Then you're fine. Otherwise you'll have to send the cat out. Eventually I did. I always refused to take my cat out but it became a hassle to be taking extra caution.

The only way you can dye it is if you use ammonia free hair dye and are in a very well ventilated area. And try to use the fast acting ones. And double your gloves.
