Possible exposure (protected but drunk) during last week December to first week January 2010 (by 10th?). Oral swab test on 1/29/10 in NYC clinic was negative. Subsequent NYC Elisa testing with my doctor on 2/2 (Neg on all STD's, HIV, Hep), 2/16 (Neg on HIV), 3/2 (Neg on all STD's, HIV, Hep). Will see Doc on 3/9 but test then or when??
My pediatrician wants me to take my son for allergy testing, but his only symptom is coughing. He has no other symptoms, has had a chest and sinus X-ray, which were normal. He has had antibiotics and steroids. The cough has not gone away. Not sure why he thinks it is an allergy... Please advise. Thanks!
Allergy testing in children is not terribly reliable, my son's doctor says. She says they can come up as sensitive to something that in real life they don't actually react to, and not show as sensitive to something that the parents know from observation that they are allergic to. She says it is better to just observe carefully, and test by experimenting with one food at a time.
I live in us NYC to be exact, why did the doctor tell me the window is 6 months? I was neg at 4 months and so happy !!! I don't understand why he would tell me that?? Any advise or fact would be greatly appreciated !!! Thanks soooo much happy holidays!!

Logan just had his 2m check up and growing like a weed!! Born at 5lbs12oz 19in long, He is now 10lbs4oz and 23in long!! We are very suprise on how much weight he has gain in just weeks...We have to try out a new foumla as his pedi thinks he might have a milk allergy. So I guess we'll have to wait and see....Lastnight was our first night out with no kids, we were only gone a few hours, but we had a good time, Much needed!!

The lady who read me my results had a thick jamaican accent and when I think back to that time I was so scared my memory was hazy but I know she said negative, what concerns me that I remember is that when I left she said something like "see the guy as you leave."
