6255435 tn?1379862431 We use Allergy research or NutriCology brands at my practice. If your dog is currently taking more than 200mg and there are no side effects than continue with the higher dose. If he is taking less than gradually increase to the 200mg dose. There are many other additional holistic options to consider. Please post again if your would like additional information. Thank you, Dr.
Avatar n tn At this point, my doctor suspects that I might have a solar allergy and he and prescribed me Plaquenil (200mg BID). I've been taking it for 5 days now and so far there have been no results. I agree that a solar allergy seems possible, but I have a few questions about this: 1) How long should I take this medicine before I might expect to see some results? 2) If I don't respond to this Plaquenil, does that mean this is not a solar allergy?
Avatar f tn I have been taking 1 magnesium citrate 200mg at bedtime for approximately 1.5 weeks. I do have a history of headaches, but since I started taking it, I am waking up with severe headaches which seem to last 3 to 4 hours. The only other thing I take is a B6 vitamin. I take no prescription medication, so I know it is not an interaction. Everything I read says magnesium is good for headaches. Any thoughts?
Avatar m tn But after a short break I am good to go for about an hour. I have done research and tried different things to stop from finishing so fast the first time. Why does my penis get so sensitive and how can I desensitize it(just a little)? I have done research and it says to masturbate all the time and it should do the trick, but it doesn't seem to be working. Any other suggestions?
Avatar m tn Not in canada so I go by the ACOG recommendations as well as the extensive research by Dr Zane Brown who has done the majority of the research on herpes and pregnancy. The herpes handbook by Terri Warren, our herpes expert here in medhelp, also supports the dose I recommended. you never, ever, EVER have to take acyclovir if you don't want to, even during pregnancy.
Avatar n tn hey all! my name is Jennifer! i am doing a research paper on Aquagenic Urticaria. I was wondering if anyone who has this allergy could let me know how it effects your life, how you cope with it and how you got it. that would be so great! Its appreciated!!! thanks!
Avatar f tn so I've done research on caffeine intake including sugar. And thru the research I found, it said that its better to go without it but if I can't avoid it should at least be in moderatsy. How much is moderatsy and would it still harm the baby and give him ADHD? My boyfriend says that I've been having to much. Like a mug full or more in a day and then not having it for 2 weeks or more. The research I looked up said a mug full a day is fine which is 100mg or 200.
Avatar f tn How does one research the results of phase1 clinical trials on a new drug? If anyone has any suggestions I'd appreciate hearing them. thanks!
Avatar f tn So, I’ve been doing some more research, I was looking into bad breath as it seems to be a common denominator among us. I had bad breath growing up however since after high school it went away. I also did have a lot of work done to my teeth such as braces, extractions etc. (maybe that helped). Anyways, I remember reading a post about a woman who said a smell came from her until she had deep cleaning with her teeth and it went away for awhile.
Avatar f tn Im 9 weeks one day doc gave me cyclogest 200mg one at night he z he don't think I need it but because I had previous loss he z I should use it for two weeks any body used this and had good results
Avatar n tn this month im taking 200mg and i am wondering if anyone has luck with clomid at this dose after no response to 100 mg?
587201 tn?1239671926 I was put on progesterone 200mg today due to miscarriage in Feb. I am 5w5d and I wanted to know if anyone was given this in their first trimester and what their experience was like. I am a pessimist and worry about everything. Please give me some words of encouragement.
Avatar f tn Folliculitis.
Avatar n tn I found this out when I did some research on non-toxic flea removal when I had issues with them after the first heat wave last year. My cat and I never had any issues in our previous apartment, so I knew it wasn't something we brought with us. I remembered that the previous tenant kept talking about some biting insects, but it was hard to get any sense out of the previous tenant because English was her second lanuage.
209987 tn?1451935465 My two yr old son had a blood allergy test done about a year ago...didn't show anything, but pediatrician said that most times the blood ones don't show much unless specifically searched for. My question is...he loves peanut butter...he eats it and never seems to get sick from it, except that he gets a pimply rash on his face where the peanut butter has touched him...could this be an allergy? Is his face possibly just sensitive to the oils?
Avatar f tn Mine started at 15 went down to 10 so my Dr put me on 200mg of progesterone. Numbers are now in the 20's. I would be a Little worried.. from the research I've done it shouldn't be lower than 9. I would double check.
Avatar f tn s follow up, the doctor made an error and thought she was only on 100mg, so the doc wanted to double it to 200mg, meanwhile OP was already ON 200mg. Thankfully she questioned it.
198419 tn?1360242356 I don't have any information for you, but I will be very interested to see what you find and what eventually happens with you. I've probably told you this, but my sister had what her neuro said was an allergic reaction to her Rebif. She developed an all-over itchy skin rash that hurt like the dickens. Her doctor pulled her off Rebif because of this reaction and aggressive disease course and started her on Tysabri.
1713150 tn?1314467342 Kelli, you really are going to have learn how to find your zen, its a long journey ahead, I do think it would be really really helpful to you if you get some counceling (sp) to help teach you how face all the tomorrows. Using caps when you dont usually is making your post come across as you being in a panic and really anxious so if thats not the case i appologise, I do mean the advice respectfully!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Avatar m tn After she washed the cat I took anti-allergic meds for a some days, after that I stopped the medication and all my symptoms were gone until a week or so ago, my throat it sore, after doing some research online I found out that you can get asthma if you have an allergic reaction to cats, I don't think I have most of the asthma symptoms, but sometimes I feel lack of breath (barely noticeable), nasal congestion and I have a strange feeling every time I breath like if I was breathing cold air.
