If the tingling and pins and needles sensations are present only after cutting grass,then allergy to grass or the pesticides used can be responsible.
If however,you are having such sensations(called parasthesias) otherwise also,then the cause is other than grass allergy. Chronic paresthesia indicates a problem with the functioning of neurons.
I am also allergic to grass pollen actually my worst allergy according to an allergy test I had many years ago now, is June grass pollen. By weed pollens do you mean perhaps hay fever ?
When my allergies get really bad, I take a product called REACTON which is an over the counter anti allergy medication.
Hey, I'm 13 years old and I started to have an itch on my face and neck yesterday, it felt really dry but I thought it would go down.
How would I know what is my triggers? I know that I am allergic to grass, trees, and dust. I haven't had any problems in years since 2005. It seems like when I started taking my children to school on a daily basis, that is when I started having asthma flare ups. I had one in October of last year,had to be admitted to hospital for 4 days. I was recently admitted to the hospital in March for 6 days. The last time I had to be admitted I was a child. I just got a nebulizer.
for the last 4 months my nose has been congested, i can breath thru one side while the other is congested, when the lawnmowers are one and someone doing the grass sometimes very rarely me eyes would get watery, the congestion itself sorta jumps from one side to the other
As for the allergic reaction during surgery, allergies are cumulative so the fact you were a little allergic to each medicine plus in the cool environment of the surgical suite (I am thinking you may also be allergic to cold temps), then you had many reasons that cumulatively could cause your reaction.
it was great for the first 2 weeks, T4 and T3 started to go down, but then I developped sever allergy, hand and feet swelling that I was not able to use them and joint pain. Endo had to stop it and now put me on PTU 150 mg for 2 days now. I'm already seeing similar allergic reaction, itch and rash like with tapazole and I'm guessing it woulf be just gettng worse. I had chronic respiratory issues when I developed a bad allergy to the grass in the hills around my home. The headaches, dizzyness, and fatigue could be symptoms of allergies, but it is hard to imagine that you could get them every single day. They could signal an autoimmune disorder. Do you have any other symptoms, such as light sensitivity, rashes, joint or muscle pain? Have you been evaluated for ME/Chronic Fatigue?
As allergic reactions are IgE mediated, blood tests will show increase in these levels secondary allergy. The problem with allergen testing is sometimes the amount of food they challenge with may be not sufficient to elicit any allergic reactions. When such allergen exposure is in large quantities can elicit allergic reaction. You need to note down such allergens and also in your diary and avoid further exposure in future. Stay away from pets as they are potential reservoir of allergens.
I am allergic to grass and had been sitting on a blanket on grass, so when I went to the doctor, they assumed it was that and prescribed me antihistamines on top of the daily one I already take, to help clear up the rash. The hives, rash, and itchiness are all gone, but my skin is still "bumpy" almost as though it was scarred. However, I tried not to itch and didn't have any scabs or anything, so I don't know how it went from rash to scars? Has anyone experienced this?
s but no kids and both my dogs do what your dog is does due to allergies. My girl Westie has an allergy to grass which during certain seasons it makes her lick her feet until the fur is all pink and the skin is raw. She started doing this when she was around 2 and still has this problem mildly at age 4. I have helped with this problem by when she has flare ups I wash her feet everyday with a shampoo called "Malaseb" & giving her homapathy drops for grass allergies.
its gotten alot worse over the last three..have been tested i am severely allergic to all tree pollens grass and ragweed pollen mold and dogs..i have tried everything ( including the drops under your tongue) nothing reaaly helps i am tired of feeling like this all time..
I am by no means a medical professional, but I do have a similar reaction to being in grass or around furry animals. Mine is just an allergy, and they either settle down on their own or with the help of an antihistamine. That might help your son! But like I said, I'm not a medical professional. Good luck!
I was 12 when I went in for some blood testing and urinalysis to look into my igE levels and eosinophils. Both levels were astonishingly high. My igE levels at the time were over 16,000. Over the next years, I had a biopsy and upper endoscopy that really showed what was going on with my case. I had visible eosinophil deposits along my entire esophagus and on my stomach. That's when I was diagnosed with eosinophilic esophagitis.
As I'm sure you know, it's impossible to tell for sure what the problem is over the internet, especially with limited information. However, to me, it sounds like it may be flea bites. Are there any animals in the house or have you been around any animals? Fleas can also be in taller, dry grass, so even if there aren't any animals around that you've been near, but have been out walking in the grass, it's still possible for flea bites.
t suffer from them, you have no idea how horrible it is. I just saw on the news, there is a new grass allergy pill, but I researched it and it is only 17-30% effective and it works the same as the shots. In other words, for me, it won't work at all. Good luck and I hope you find a "solution" (excuse the pun). Please post it if you do. I just spent $200 on Patadine and I'm worried it won't work. Obamacare doesn't cover it.
