Avatar f tn I am looking for a good thyroid doctor in austin tx. The one I went to last week is not working out for me. It takes too long to get an appointment and then that appointment changes. I have to call multiple times to get someone to pick up the phone and getting my test results is a flat out nightmare. I tried to Google it but not really finding good results.
Avatar n tn When I lived in Calif. my asthma went away. I moved to N. Fla. and in 4 years it has gotten severly worse. Is there anyplace to move where it is not densely populated, where the medicine is up to date and it does not cost an arm & a leg to live there. Austin is out of the question as is going back to California. Would living close to the ocean help?
Avatar f tn Possibly even more out of it. Any one have any ideas? Fun fact, I also just moved from Seattle WA to Austin TX two months ago. Perhaps climate change? Any answers or directions could be helpful!

Avatar f tn I was diagnosed with Asthma in 2003 six months after moving to Austin, TX. It has only gotten worse and is is now out of control. I have been hospitalized and/or intubated several times. The number seems to be growing every year. Just 2 days ago i had the most severe attack I have ever had. It took 3 ned treatments back to back to stop it and for the first time I feared this was the big one. We have tried several inhalation powders, steriod packs, nebulizer combinations.

Avatar m tn We have another dog who is healthy, but who is really rambunctious, so we need to separate them so he can heal peacefully. So the plan is to leave town (Austin, TX), camp the first night on the TX/OK border, and take 3 days to drive north to Minnesota, staying in 2 hotels along the way, and stay in MN for 2 weeks. We will be leaving the healthy dog with a friend here in Austin. Is the camping the first night a good idea, or should we delay leaving a day and drive longer the next day?
Avatar f tn Hi, Yes you could be experiencing re-actions to an unknown allergens.Fresh coats of paint can trigger off allergic re-actions. Are you in contact with either on a day-to-day basis? As in an occupation or living in close proximity-in the vicinity of some-thing associated with either? First, the bad news: For many people, allergy season has become a year-round stint, according to the American Academy of Allergy, Asthma & Immunology (AAAAI). But there's good news too.
