I continued to avoid seafood anyway and didn't have any problems for several months. However, last week I ate a hamburger with mushrooms and cheese and had a similar reaction. No facial numbness but extreme dizziness and breathing difficulty. I have an epipen but have never used it.

Even worse, for all you know if was grown in someones back yard where they applied scots turf builder or worse. I would suspect this is the likely cause, however, it is possible for some to be allergic to weed (though uncommon). Was this the first time you ever did it?
