Allergies to juvederm

Common Questions and Answers about Allergies to juvederm

allergies

Avatar n tn What you are experiencing may be an anaphylactic reaction due to allergy to Juvederm. Moreover Juvederm should not be used in patients with a history of allergies to Gram-positive bacterial proteins or to lidocaine. You may be allergic to any of them.
Avatar f tn I suggest you to get it examined from your doctor who has done the juvederm treatment. The other condition to be ruled out is formation of granulomas after the juvederm treatment. This indicates a reaction of the immune system to the gel. It is very difficult to precisely confirm a diagnosis without examination and investigations and the answer is based on the medical information provided. For exact diagnosis, you are requested to consult your dermatologist. I sincerely hope that helps.
Avatar f tn I developed Trigeminal Neuralgia 3 weeks after my first botox treatmemt (forehead, crowsfeet and frown lines) and 5 days after juvederm put into nasolabial folds, chin and lower cheek. Is it possible these treatments could have caused the TN? I have it on both sides and it is an aching pain. Started in one jaw then moved to all teeth, then a few weeks later into sinuses, and head bones, and now pain is in eye area and my entire face and head.
Avatar n tn I also had juvederm to my tear troughs and it has been horrible. I have had two follow up appointments with my surgeon and will have dissolved in the next week but am now rethinking whole process... whether to leave well enough along but would much rather at least have the appearance before process. I had my procedure performed seven weeks ago and have lumps and swelling (inconsistently -- really bad some days and others not so bad).
Avatar m tn May be a good idea to ask on the dermatology forum or on the expert/doctor forum.
Avatar n tn I have a patient with bells palsy-which occured 7 years ago. due to increased aging she would like some juvederm,cheekfillers,etc....can i inject the bells palsy side of the face?
Avatar n tn I am considering eyelid surgery and the doctor also recommended a dermal filler between the brows to decrease a very deep line. He did not offer the name of the filler he will be using. After looking on-line regarding fillers I came across Radiesse and ArteFill. What I like about the ArteFill is the long-term benefits (5 years) and not knowing the cost perhaps I'll be saving money in the long run as Radiesse and other dermal fillers only last maybe one year at a cost around $800 a visit.
Avatar f tn Will alcohol while conceiving affect my pregnancy? I also had a lazer hair removal and juvederm treatment before our vacation and a couple weeks before i conceived? I am so upset that I could hurt my baby.
Avatar f tn LOL there are just some things that are not going to go back to the way they were when we were 20 no matter how much botox or juvederm we apply - aging gracefully and accepting what comes with it is an art.
Avatar f tn I was wondering does anyone know if its possible for people with our condition to get facial fillers? (Restylane, Juvederm, collagen, botox, or Retin- A creams?) The reason I ask is because I've noticed that the skin on my face is getting thin and wrinkled, especially around my stretchy eyes. ( due to EDS) I know it sounds vain, but I'm just been tired of feeling like an old lady my whole life...I don't want to look like one too.
Avatar n tn Is it possible to be allergic to local anesthesia, as in stop breathing? I remember I stopped breathing and my dentist giving me another shot of something to revive me, a second after the shot I remember taking a couple of very deep breaths. When three weeks later I asked him which anesthesia I am allergic to he said none, when I asked him what happened that day he said nothing, I explained what I experienced and he said "you dreamt it.
Avatar n tn You should really get to a doctor right away. You don't know if there was something added to one of your drinks or if it is alcohol poisoning. Please get it checked out. If it is an allergy benadryl would likely help but best to have it looked at by a doctor.

1272624 tn?1395434357 I just happened to turn the tv on to some show about sex, it was a woman who had unprotected sex for the first time on her honeymoon and got extremely sick, it turned out she had a semen allergy. Just wanting to put that out there just in case!
Avatar f tn Chemical sensitivity is a common symptom in Dysautonomia. I have a couple of true allergies to medication, but I also experience overdose symptoms at normal medicinal dosages. I'm not sure if this is what you are referring too, but I'd recommend starting all new medication with the smallest dosage possible.
Avatar f tn How to deal with allergies?? What can I do what can I take I'm so congested and plugged up can't stop sneezing. I'm 15 weeks pregnant.

Avatar n tn My neurosurgeon told us that there are no allergies to Titanium - he was wrong. Yes, there are Titanium allergies. Be sure to have your allergist test you for metal sensitivity. Spaulding Rehabilitation Hospital in Boston http://www.spauldingrehab.org/ published a study notating Titanium allergies and their recommended treatment; here's the link http://www.archives-pmr.org/article/S0003-9993(04)00946-3/abstract - on the right click on "Full Text". Good luck.
Avatar n tn Because in shell fish there are components like tropomyosin, which have a propensity to cause allergy in certain people and is completely different to what causes allergy due to iodine. Best.
676912 tn?1332812551 My allergist himself recognizes that people can have sensitivities while testing negative to such hidden food allergies. A sensitivity may not cause anaphylaxis, but it can still cause one to have a reaction. Other common ingredients in marinara sauces, such as your prepared spaghetti sauces are the preservatives used for such products. I have issues with these myself. I also have to be careful with the alum family, especially onions, which I have always hated myself anyway.
