1232362 tn?1333135406 Do kitties get seasonal allergies? Our older Spirit (about 12ish, spayed) has been sneezing clear mucus, has bright clear eyes, good appetite, normal behavior (wants to play and does her pm yodeling and such) but this has lasted a good week now. She seems completely fine except for the sneezing and snotting. Could it just be some sort of allergies? We're using the same litter, same food, same same same.
666921 tn?1254990618 Absolutely. Ever since the bullseye rash I have been plagued with frequent rashes and allergies. They are very itchy and bothersome. I have a rash right now that is pretty much all over. They seem to last for about 6 weeks then start to resolve.
12498457 tn?1425603087 When the weather changes from winter to spring-like conditions, my seasonal allergies kick in full force. So, the pressure buildup and sneezing fits (6+ in rapid succession) get worse. Allergy meds only help so much leaving me miserable and hoping I don't have a massive pain episode at work. Anyone have any suggestions or thoughts on how to lessen the sneezing at least? With hopes that I'll be able to function at work until the end of March?
Avatar f tn Hello, I have a question. For a very long time I have had flu like symptoms - with only a low grade fever that comes and goes. It it usually when the weather changes and gets colder or goes up and down. Typically the all over aches, tiredness and extremity swelling are the worst. I just went to the doctors today and he prescribed Zyrtec saying he thinks this is allergies. Does this sound right?
Avatar m tn I do suffer with hay fever but it’s odd I’m getting these symptoms when the weather is like this plus I never normally get the lip thing. I’ve been taking my antihistamines but they only just take the edge off. I’m wondering if there’s something else going on?
Avatar n tn Since then I never tried to consult with dermatologists to treat my allergies, because calamine lotion do help to relieve the itchiness. This allergy is a kind of red bump /rashes and it’s very itchy and it was mostly around my forearm and legs, the itchiness will be gone after a minute that I’ve applied the calamine lotion, but the rashes are still there and it will leave marks on my skin after it healed.
Avatar f tn I also take excedrine tense tabs which helps with the headaches. I am confused weather I should go to the ENT specialist or the optomologist or even both. @ times I even get a lil blurred vision from my rt eye but I'm not sure if its associated with the allergies or if its my vision because I do wear glasses 20/45 is my vision. I just got my prescription this past February 2011.
1545021 tn?1322477485 I used to think it was just allergies, but wondered why I was getting allergies when it would rain, or the start of winter..etc. (and I never got a stuffy or runnung nose or eyes, just headaches and pressure in my ears nose).but I now think its Chiari, and it makes much more sense...
7406493 tn?1453999212 I do get seasonal allergies which I have symptoms of but Im not sure what to take cause I never had allergies while pregnant before. But im not coughing. So Im really leaning to the allergies vs.the cold IDK im confused. I can treat a cold but how do I treat allergies?
Avatar f tn The weather has been going to one extreme to another. I thought it was my allergies at first. But now I think I'm getting sick. Anyone have any suggestions about what I can take over the counter.
Avatar f tn Lately I have been experiencing allergies like I never have before. Most people have allergies as kids, then grow out of them, however for me, it seems to be the opposite. I had little to no allergies that I recall and now.... EVERYTHING, or at least it seems. They keep getting worse and worse every year and I don't know what is next! Mostly, my eyelids will become very swollen, usually in the morning after sleeping. I'm thinking this is cosmetics related, but I'm not sure...
Avatar m tn so a change to a H2b was very helpful to me as well as watching my diet....But weather changes and stress can trigger symptoms so I have to listen to my body to try to keep things on track. That does not mean I do not have the occasional flare up....but I am better at keeping it in check.... Keep a journal to see if it could be a food allergy or weather related....
Avatar f tn Well the symptoms are accurate, as the temperature changes, your body reacts to it, considering that you already have many issues related to allergy, as much as I am not a great believer of prescription medecine and tend to orient my lifew towards a more natural way of living, I think that you would need some meds to alleviate your symptoms, and give you back some quality living, talk to your doc, or see an allergist, if you do not get any satisfaction, get another one. good luck.
Avatar n tn t seem to stem from allergies, although I do have allergies but I seen to have more problems with weather changes and being around smoke or strong odors. Is there anything you can do when you know a large weather change is coming to ward off a horrible sinus headache? I live in Los Angeles California and our weather changes a lot.
Avatar m tn I, too, get some dizziness when my allergies are acting up (unfortunately, I suffer from year round allergies, but spring and fall are my worst) You may want to try an over the counter decongestant or antihistamine to see if they help. Of course, if you are under a doctor's care or on any other medication, please check with your doctor first before trying any of these. Hope you feel better.
Avatar n tn Talk to your doctor at the next visit because sometimes sudden onset of cold like feelings is just another pregnancy symptom and they dissappear after giving birth, but you could also actually have a cold or like above, allergies. Depends on your location as well because with where I'm at in ohio the weather is fluctuating so much that it makes me feel sick one day and great the next.
Avatar n tn Hi, not so much food allergies...but PND and weather for me...but I did notice a change in foods I prefer ...things I use to eat all the time I can not longer stand the smell of....so I found that odd. I did not have food allergies b4.....but have developed allergies to some meds.....
Avatar f tn t even test him because she said by looking at him she could tell he does not have allergies. The symptoms clear up in the summer and do not return until spring. What in the world could this be? We are desperate for answers! Thanks!
Avatar f tn We are 60% water during a full moon we loose water and become dehydrated which causes the symptoms. My symptoms are different each time depending how close or far the moon is to us. During this time my legs become unstable, M.SM.S. hug, headaches, feet hurt, can't sleep without pain. And so on. till now I don't take medicine.
Avatar n tn Whenever I get cold I get these red welts all over my body and they start to itch real bad like chicken pox so I itch them and then I'll take a shower and the warm water burns my body because I have itched them. Even if I'm outside and it's warm and if there is a little wind, I still break out in these welts. If the weather is really cold I get the welts, plus my body shakes real bad like I'm frozen.
778277 tn?1235796821 Thanks for replying. I will make sure to check with my doctor to see if anything is wrong. I am still experiencing pain, mostly behind my eye and temple areas. I heard on the news recently that there has been an increase in Allergy weather here in Tucson, and I have bad allergies, so most of my problems might also be from my allergies, since I've also been getting a lot of sinus headaches.
Avatar n tn Hello, I was wondering if allergies ( I don't know if I have them or not, never had allergies before ) or dry weather can cause a bloody nose. When I say bloody I don't mean gushing or a soaked tissue like if someone punched you in the nose. I mean like the middle area of your nose where the cartilage is. I don't pick my nose and recently as of about 2 weeks I noticed it off and on.
