Common Questions and Answers about Allergies symptoms morning

Avatar f tn Hey girls I have a question... I'm 5 weeks and my baby's daddy is throwing up yellowish and he said some like white foam idk that's what he said.. Is that normal?? He sleeps a lot and it also seems like he's getting a cold or allergies and he takes medicine for allergies or the cold and nothing takes it away could it be he's getting most of the symptoms? I was also told that usually when that happens that the guy gets these symptoms is usually a girl...?
Avatar n tn Do you have any allergies, sinus problems or anything like that? That could explain morning coughing. Post nasal dripping can collect in the back of your throat as you sleep, upon awakening, you would be coughing to rid yourself of the phlegm. Also, do you have reflux disease? Interestingly, reflux disease can cause asthma like symptoms including coughing. Reflux material might also pool in your airways as you sleep, Coughing is the body's effort to get rid of this.
Avatar f tn I went to my doctor for a routine exam and had him look at my right ear and throat as I had woken up that morning with slight pain. He said I had an ear and throat infection and e-prescribed me an antibiotic. Well, that evening I went to pick my prescription up but the pharmacy didn't receive it. I was leaving the next morning for a business trip and didn't have time to deal with it. Since my symptoms weren't too bothersome I wasn't too concerned.
Avatar f tn Is there such a thing as pregnancy allergies? I had this constant sneezing and sinus problem when I was preggo with my son. Didn't have it any other time. Now It's back and is killing me.
Avatar n tn For the past week, I have been having these red ,often huge, itchy bumps all over my body..i have no idea what triggers them since these bumps appear almost everyday and even in the morning when I have just woken up. I remember that it started when I was cleaning my room, but it has been a week and the rashes are still there. I have been taking Benadryl since these rashes appeared. What other meds can I take?what could be the cause of these rashes?
541196 tn?1293552936 Your symptoms do not sound like food allergies. Possibly, food intolerance, which effects the digestive system. There are a slew of gastrointestinal diseases that can cause the symptoms you are experiencing (ie:colitis, irritable bowel synsrome, diverticulitis, crohn's disease, and list goes on). Have you to tried an elimination diet to see what may be causing your symptoms?
Avatar m tn I got up this morning with nausea, shakiness and feeling generally ill. The nurse at the e.r. told me everyone is suffering horribly with Mountain Cedar allergies, and the pollen is worse this year than it ever has been in West Texas. I live 150 miles west of Dallas. I have even had pains hit my joints but that finally stopped. Someone told me that allergies can manifest in many ways with all kinds of symptoms. Is it possible to feel nausea and feel bad like I did this a.m. from mt.
Avatar f tn Hey is it normal to not get morning sickness or even feel nauseous everyday but just sometimes. I'm only 6 1/2 week's and I have only puked two days and only felt sick like 2 other days. I just read the more morning sickness u have the healthier the baby.
Avatar f tn My son is 18 and has been suffering with morning nausea/vomiting for the past 2.5-3 years. Nothing that we have tried helps. He has been seeing a gastrointerologist for the past 2 years and has been put on omeprolozone for reflux in the morning and at night. It hasn't helped. He has been tested for different allergies to various foods, etc, but everything came back negative. He is trying to start his career but the nausea is making it difficult to get to work every day.
Avatar f tn Lately I have been experiencing allergies like I never have before. Most people have allergies as kids, then grow out of them, however for me, it seems to be the opposite. I had little to no allergies that I recall and now.... EVERYTHING, or at least it seems. They keep getting worse and worse every year and I don't know what is next! Mostly, my eyelids will become very swollen, usually in the morning after sleeping. I'm thinking this is cosmetics related, but I'm not sure...
Avatar n tn Hello. I have been suffering from the worst seasonal allergies in my life this year. I have itchy watery eyes, nasal congestion, and scratchy throat. I haven't been sleeping well at night for the past 3 weeks because of the nasal congestion and have been waking up with a nasty dry mouth in the morning. I have tried benadryl, claritin 24 hrs tablets, zyrtec (also 24 hr tablet), nasal spray (some kind of anticholinergic solution), Singulair and phenylephrine so far.
Avatar n tn My mother has been suffering from extreme allergies for the past two months. She has always had allergies since she moved to the U.S. nearly 20 years ago. But this is the first year, it's been this bad. When she wakes in the morning she habitually has nosebleeds and sneezing fits. Her nose is regularly "clogged". Claritin doesn't work for her anymore. And when her doctor recommended NeilMed, it alleviated some of her symptoms but only for a short time.
Avatar f tn I am a 25 year old woman with fairly severe allergies to just about all the usual suspects. I recently came down with what appeared to be an ear infection- the first one in my life. I was prescribed antibiotics (allergic to penicillin, so I was given erythromyacin) the eyrthromyacin failed to work after about 10 days, so I was given biaxin, which failed at which time my eardrum ruptured and I was given cipro, and I had to discontinue do to adverse effects.
Avatar f tn Hi: I have so many symptoms going on, and cannot figure out what my problem is. I have been very sick for the past week, and saw my doctor yesterday. She is not even sure what is going on with me. I have a constant drip down the back of my throat. IT goes into my chest and in my ears. Constantly clearing my throat from phlegm. Right now I am bringing up slight yellowish phlegm, but most of the time its clear.
Avatar n tn About a week ago I noticed my 6 year old son have some mild coughing immediately after waking up in the morning. It continued for about 4 days with the cough just being there in the morning, and for the rest of the day there wasn't really any cough that I would notice. Day 5, I noticed the cough increase, in the sense that I would hear him cough during the day and evening a few times.

Avatar n tn My doctor recommended that I take Claritin in the morning and if I still have symptoms later in the day, then take a Benadryl. She said using two antihistamines is better than one and those are safe during pregnancy. It's worked for me.

Avatar m tn Every morning I get phlegms, colour differs from transparent/yellow.but today it was blood stained. I am getting this morning sputum since 2 years mostly in winter time. I am allergic. I catch cough & cold easily. How can I get rid of this?
Avatar f tn Hello, The dry eyes, dark circles under the eyes and sinus pain can be explained by allergies esp air borne allergies but rest of the symptoms don’t seem to fit in allergies.Headaches can be due to tension headaches or sinus headaches, rest of the symptoms like dark circles under the eyes, tiredness and fatigue after waking up and confusion can be due to sleep disturbances.Take rest adequatey and eat healthy nutritious food containing lots of green vegetables.
Avatar f tn A little over a year ago, I broke out in hives everywhere! The following morning, the right side of my face was swollen like the stay puff marshmallow man. Went to the ER -pumped me full of prednisone - sent me home! These symptoms kept reoccuring - no rhyme or reason. Only that they were progressing and coming on more frequently - I started feeling like I was swelling from the inside out. (Only on the right side, which coincidentally, is the hip I had replaced.
Avatar m tn I took some benedryl and fell asleep. Woke up this morning with the same symptoms except now my neck is stiff and quite sore. I have also developed a mild cough but I only cough once every hour to hour and a half. I have not had any headaches or chills. I do sneeze a lot and the itch on my palm comes and goes. It won't itch for several hours and then all of a sudden it it itches intensely for about 10 minutes then stops.
