I've gotten hives every night for the last three years. We've concluded its from heating up too much. No matter what I do to keep the temperature down, I end up getting horrible, itchy hives from being too hot.
I've always taken benadryl to help get rid of them and I've been cleared by the doc to take it, but I feel bad every time, like its poisoning the baby. I've tried some natural methods to get rid of them, but was wondering if you ladies had any suggestions?
Sounds like a bad reaction with another drug you had in your system at the time. 6 oz of beer is not enough to do anything. You symptoms are indicative of another problem and you should see a medical professional.
t urinate for some reason except once after I started drinking (and I just found out every time you urinate 10% of it leaves your body) and I drank on an empty stomach. Is that enough that I got a small case of alcohol poisoning? I woke up puking everywhere which I never do unless I'm REALLY sick and I was shivering even though my family member says it was hot in here and I don't get cold easily on top of that and I was confused and other unpleasant things.

I am eighteen years old and have only had hives one other time in my life, which was a couple years ago related to a flu virus. I am healthy and fit and eat a well-balanced diet. However four days ago (Friday night) My torso suddenly started to itch, and spread to a large rash of hives. Since then I've pretty much stayed on benadryl, and the rash always seems to come back when the medication wears off.

I drank one of his alcoholic beverages. It has been a year since I drank it. The drink he made contains %40-45 of alcohol and I drank approximately 400-500 ml of it. I didn't feel bad that night except being drunk. I slept well and even though I have headache too often, I didn't even suffer from headache that day. The thing that I am worried about, is it possible that the alcohol I drank can be methanol and I survived it?

I asked for help on here a couple weeks ago for my alcohol intolerance/allergy. The first couple of times I ever drank I my forearms would swell up and break out in hives and itch very badly. I haven't gotten the hives in a while but my forearms still swell up and itch. Someone on here told me that I should take an antihistamine such a levocetrizine or cetrizine. I took 1 Zyrtec and I felt fine for a couple of hours but my arms eventually swelled up and started to itch again.
My sister gets that. I have never heard her say that sunblock makes any difference -- in her case anyway, it seems to be from the heat on the skin. Talk to your doctor. In the meantime, wear sleeves and a hat.
Hi, I have recently started getting hives after consuming alcohol. hives appear on both feet (around ankle) and back of palm (dorsal side) after a day or two and stays for 5-7 days. This didn't happen earlier.
I don't have any known food allergies. Even though I don't have yet, my father has eczema.
Also I have recently developed a Ganglionic Cyst on my face. I'm not sure if this is relevant to my allergic reaction to alcohol. But, what is the reason for Ganglionic Cyst?

Pay special attention to the symptoms. I know from first hand experience that a lot of things go through your mind when you think someone may have alcohol poisoning, and there is a natural reaction to hope you are wrong and wait to see if the person to be OK, and that people may very well get mad if you are wrong and drag them to the hospital.

t get all of what she said, but I understood that I had been diagnosed with acute alcohol intoxication (alcohol poisoning), that I spent the night in a vodka-induced coma and that I could've died.
I think she said my blood alcohol content was 500 or .50.
They kept me under observation all afternoon, tested my urine, and I had to call my parents to pick me up.
After that, I had the most awful hangover for a week.
