Common Questions and Answers about Alcohol calories cider

alcohol

Avatar f tn it's basically all in the title. I'm 14 yrs old and if i drink a glass of cider, i get a headache, dizzy feeling, pain in my chest, upper body aches and nausea. Stupid thing is though some of these symptoms seem like i'm drunk, but seriously im not a lightweight like that. i've drunk quite heavily before ( a few times ) and i drink probably about 1-2 bottles of cider each weekend just at home.
Avatar f tn Most alcoholic beverages are high in sugar/carbs and calories. Also your body can only do one thing at a time-- digest food or alcohol. It is a pretty legitimate excuse, but it is just one example. I hope this helps. Good luck!
Avatar f tn You surely should not drink any alcohol at all while taking pain medication, or any medication for that matter.
Avatar f tn Anytime I drink anything, regardless of amount, it can be as small as one cider. I feel so sick, in the moment I feel uncomfortably hot. However, the next morning is usually awful for me. I wake up with a migraine, heatburn coupled with acid reflux, and horrific diarrhea that smells strongly of straight alcohol! I just don't understand why, especially since I am Caucasian and not of any Asian descent. Thank you for your time.
Avatar m tn Before going to bed my blood sugar is about 110 whether I drink alcohol or not. But my fasting glucose is between 140 and 150 if I drink alcohol and it is from 115 to 125 if I don't consume any alcohol the previous night. In summary the dawn phenomenon is exasperated by alcohol. But every thing I am reading is against this. I'm wondering if any one has any logical explanation for this.
Avatar f tn I don't drink at all, but my husband does. And I don't "crave" them but the IPA's he drinks smell deeeeeeeelish! They use repulse me. He also had a hard cider the other day at a BBQ and it smelled so good on his breath!
Avatar f tn The reality of it is....they know that alcohol causes FAS (Fetal Alcohol Syndrome)...they do NOT know the safe cut-off. Most women avoid it because of this. Yes, one glass of one could be just fine, so if you feel like the benefits outweigh the risk, you're a grown woman and can make that choice. But since your doctor is saying no, I would trust my doctor and not drink it.
Avatar m tn once went to an underaged party where they served massive sparkling apple cider pop, took a sip and tasted alcohol although friends promised it was non alcoholic. so i just stopped. personally, i don't want to take any chances.
Avatar f tn Bragg's apple cider vinegar hot drink works every time! You can google it.
Avatar n tn prichard16 - yes, the types of calories makes a difference. While I agree with caregiver222, that 1000 calories is 1000 calories; if you make that 1000 calories a mix of fruits, veggies, dairy, lean meats, nuts, etc --- you will be much healthier and more likely to lose weight than if you get that 1000 calories from 5 candy bars (200 calories/each) throughout the day........... there's a huge difference........
Avatar n tn So let me ask this....if a man consumes drugs and alcohol would the ingredients of the drugs and alcohol be present in the womans urine analysis after she consumes his sperm?
Avatar n tn Yes I am starting to have a weird taste in my mouth,, almost like a rust taste and it seems I am always clinching down on my teeth. I don't drink alcohol or do any drugs, so I am wondering if this is caused by the apple cider vinegar I am taking?,,, I am not really sure, I think I should just go get it checked out by a doctor and or a dentist..
Avatar f tn I started my food diary this weekend and have taken what you've said on board . It's been okay so fair I've cut out bread and started with 1300 calories a day .
Avatar f tn I am not supposed to have any alcohol what so ever...Does vinegar have any alcohol in it?

Avatar f tn Have some sparkling cider and let your fiancé drink on your behalf. Like you said it's better to be safe than sorry, you don't need alcohol to celebrate.
362249 tn?1441315018 Alcohol can trick you. It has calories so must be taken into account in your daily caloric counts but it does dehydrate you. Providing you don't drink alcohol the next day you will rehydrate and be back where you should be providing you didn't immensely go over your calorie intake. I just count it as it is since I weigh in daily.
Avatar f tn small amount of protein like skim milk cheese, nuts and plain yogourt with frozen fruits. As long as it isn't empty calories your fine. I eat 3 small meals and 3 snacks a day. If i'm still hungry i eat a small amount of food including protein and wait 30 min at least before eating again. I have gestational diabetes so i'm really disciplined!
8793709 tn?1409594060 I have strictly stayed clear off all alcohol since getting pregnant. I'm now in Switzerland buying liqoer chocolates for my hubby and friends in the UK. is it ok for me to eat those? (With whisky, Williams, Kirsch, Bailey, etc filling). How much is too much? I don't know how to compare it to alcohol quantities ...
