Avatar f tn If terbinafine helped you, you may buy some non-prescriptiin anti-fungal ointment for itchy anus (and groin?). ...like astma? So mucus comes from the chest? Walita, honestly, in this case it is NOT time for exercise. Clear mucus spitting out in the morning, difficulty breathing and wheezing (?) after an exercise are main symptoms of asthma. You should visit pulmologist to have appropriate tests. Spitting up mucus in the morning obviously is not from not being in a good shape.
Avatar f tn could u help me understand abit more please..i have a low b12 count of 79 and im only 24 years old..can u tell me what i need to do and can anything bad happen to me.

5128334 tn?1364001945 Lately however the hive outbreaks have increased in frequency to almost every day, regardless of drinking any alcohol or not. I can go over a week without any alcohol and I still get hives every day. They vary in intensity and body location as well as time of the day. This has been happening since New Year's Eve (end of 2012, beginning of 2013). That night I did go out drinking and the following day I got a hive outbreak. But since then they are coming back almost daily.
779797 tn?1263618235 s called intoxication, not allergy. None of your symptoms point to an alcohol allergy. I suggest you stay away from it. Why make matters worse? Have you seen a doctor for any of these symptoms? Something as simple as an inner ear problem can also cause dizziness. Allergies can pop up out of nowhere. Did you test positive for anything?
Avatar f tn Parasthesias are common in alcoholics and metabolic disorders like diabetes, hypothyroidism, and hypoparathyroidism. They can also be due to peripheral vascular disease, nerve irritation, vitamin B12 deficiency or malnutrition. Get your blood sugar and thyroid hormones levels evaluated. You can take some vit B12 for some days and see if the symptoms are gone or not. In case the symptoms persist then get it evaluated from a doctor. The rash can be due to liver disorder or pityriasis rosea.
Avatar n tn B12 cannot pass through the intestinal wall and into the bloodstream without IF. * Good bacteria in the gut: an imbalance in the beneficial bacteria of the digestive system can separate B12 from IF. Eat a diet high in vitamin B12 and see if this improves your serum levels. The best sources of vitamin B12 include eggs, milk, cheese, milk products, meat, fish, shellfish and poultry. Take probiotics to help increase good bacteria in the gut and make sure you have adequate stomach acid.
Avatar n tn s an allergy because the part of the skin starts to itch. When I scratch it it small red spots appear. A couple days later the small red spots turn into slightly larger redish purple spots. These are usuallly concentrated in one area, e.g. chest or arm. That is why it's so wierd for me because it's not like it is all over my body, just a small spot. This has happaned many times before. I called my doctor and he didn't seem to think anything of it, but I am worried. Thank you.
Avatar n tn Can this all really be due to low b12, my internist insists that 200 is still low normal so I should not be having any neuro problems but neurologist feels otherwise. My symptoms are constant and progressive and I am so concerned that it is MS and not so much b12 issues- any insight? Three days post injection is it normal NOT to have physical improvement (my head does feel better.) Thanks.
Avatar f tn Since you have developed allergy or intolerance to alcohol, it can be due to either liver problem caused by antibiotic and other medication use. It can also be due to sulfur dioxide, used as preservatives in various wines and alcohols. I suggest you take probiotics for a few days and see. Meanwhile consult your doctor for a liver panel, vitamin B12 level and diabetes. Also log in the food you eat that contains sulfur dioxide (check labels) and see if get similar symptoms.
Avatar f tn Hi! Iron deficiency and Vit B6 or pyridoxine deficiency and Vit B12 deficiency may be associated with a cracked tongue. The other possibility is allergy to some food preservative or to propylene glycol which is found in some food items, drugs and cosmetics. Maybe your dental paste has it. Check this out.
Avatar f tn It definitely sounds like you could have some type of allergy to alcohol! I have a friend who has very similar symptoms after drinking but his normally starts within about 6 hours of having a couple of drinks. Alcohol allergies at some level is surprisingly more common than most people think. My advice, talk to your Dr. about it just to make sure its nothing more serious ie: liver issues. Good luck!
Avatar m tn Avoid wine and alcohol products if you know that they trigger an asthma/ allergy attack. There are already a number of wines without the preservatives that causes the allergy. But have yourself tested first with what you are allergic to.
Avatar n tn And still get a lot of chest pain and even played some basketball today and ts been hurting ever since. Could it be from the mold allergy? could it be my heart? im very worried and concered and i dont know what to do. im 19 and have never had a medical problem up until a few months ago with this bretahing chest pain problem. I used t play basketball everyday all day up until i got sick.
Avatar n tn I too suffer a b12 allergy. My b12 has been low now for at least 5 years (hovering between 100 and 130 pmol [British measurement] normal = >140) but I am unable to take supplements, as I react. A b12 injection put me in bed for about a month with a bad reaction. About 16 months ago I started getting nerve symptoms .. numbness in fingers mainly. From that point I have made a concerted effort to try and get my b12 level up through diet ... liver, kidneys etc.It started off ok.
Avatar n tn I started taking B12 and iron because of low white cell and low B12. Since I started I randomly get skin irritation, itcy blothes and a little bit of hives. Could B12 or iron vitamins cause this?
Avatar n tn 8-2 I am always tired, have gained weight, have a very very low sex drive, low concentration etc....is there anything wrong with me? are the doctors misintepreting something??
