I just found out about 12 years ago my mate was unfaithful and i have gotten tested recently with an third generation eia antibody test hiv1/2 with reflexes, a rapid blood test, 4 oraquick home tests and all came back negative. But ive read ur post that some people with aids antibodies wont show on those tests. Im very scared that im in that stage and the tests i took arent sufficient enough to know for sure.

FACTS:
1. I cannot get a doctor, up to 9 months developing trust & trueth, then refused.
2. I ask for copies of medical test results, often forget a the time, refused latter or $25.00 per page. I do have a "history" on paper for 7-8 years.
3. The new doctor application form/questioniare: No interest in my files.

Nine weeks ago, I was with a female escort. I had a IGG test from Life Labs six weeks after the encounter and got my results today. I live in Ontario so I don't know if it was a Herpeselect test or not. I do know it was an IgG serology tests. I tested negative.
Today I was at the Toronto Sexual Health Clinic and I asked the doctor about it. I told him that I read that most sites say to wait 3 - 4 months for a test.
I am a heterosexual female and my last exposure was unprotected vaginal intercourse with a male of unknown status on November 27th, 2014. I am from Ontario, Canada and i know that labs here use either the 3rd generation or the 4th generation combo test. I have no information on what type my doctor used. Anyways, i tested negative at 6 weeks and negative again at 8 weeks. I know 12 months is conclusive but is it likely for my 8 week negative result to change to a positive?
Your baby will be fine it takes a 1-2 months for it to be out of your system and babies system. Dont worry about it as long as you dont do it again. And for drug testing they dont test the poop.
You have HIV specialist Doctors on here telling people 4 weeks depending on the risk is ok and you could live with that---and then you guys over here telling people that 4 weeks is ****---well I trust someone who is actually doing the test on me to give me the right info----I am done with this site. This subject is discussed here ad nauseum. Anyone is free to decide for themselves when they feel comfortable testing. ON THIS FORUM, we adhere to the official guidelines, the doctors take a more liberal stance.
