Just wanted to know about accuracy about hiv rapid testing kit and whether they are FDA approved. Also I was looking for one to buy, but all I found was the one that you take the blood sample and send to the lab and get your results with 3 days. But I am looking for the one that you take the blood sample and get your results with 15 minutes. If anybody knows the link to purchase that particular kit I would really appericate.

I am a 29 year old female, my possible exposure was over 18 months ago, i recently tested myself using a home self testing kit called EZ Trust Rapid HIV Test Kit (manufacturer is CS Innovations Singapore, product commonly sold by Labpro and Nexus Laboratories). I live in Sydney Australia so i do not have access to the FDA approved Home Access.
On what site did you purchase your test kit? I also want to purchase one and I am residing in abu dhabi.

Like what test will someone showing advanced AIDS symptoms but keeps testing negative for antibodies. Serereversion in advance AIDS patients is documented. I been having diarrhea, and losing weight, and having many bacterial infections. I had a legit risk with someone HIV positive. Broken condom and even had a brief flu like illness right after. In my mind I had HIV. Did nothing about it for three years. Finally been suffering from these symptoms and decided to get help.
Now, I am worried sick and researching about this company that sold me test kit and how EIA and Western Blot testing work. And I found out that the product I used was not even FDA approved for not adulterating the test device. I do not know what it exactly means, but I know it is not good. And I found out that this company imported this testing kit from a Chinese company called Jiangsu Well Biotech Co., Ltd.

For hiv/aids we would like to emphasize the possibility of anonymous and free of charge testing at several health care facilities. I'm very worried about the fact that I used an unapproved DIY test kit a couple of months back.. I tested again at 11 weeks after i took that test with a proper test in a lab and the result was negative too but I'm concerned that this home test kit may have been dangerous. Would it be possible to contract any kind of blood to blood illness from a test kit like this? It looked fairly clean but I have no idea where it came from really (apart from China) and that's what concerns me.

I used a rapid test at home. The test claims using "double antigen sandwich immunoassay measurement principles". Unfortunately, my finger with blood had contacted the testing strip which claims containing "purified recombinant antigens of HIV". So, are these HIV antigens dangerous? Will I get HIV from the rapid test?? Those antigens do not mean as virus, right?? I'm so scared now.
I waited 3 months and took a rapid Insti hiv test at a free aids clinic. Then my OCD came back a day later .. Having thought like was the tesr kit contiminated .. Lancet of pipette was dirty.. What if the tester in the free clinic was trying to infect me? It is a free testing facility is there a risk? So I'm 5 weeks after getting tested I am still worried. I always Google transmission risk of a lancet and everybody says there not reusae. It's like my mind won't believe it.
this time i went to a different clinic, the nurse opened the testing kit in front of me. my question is the needle that came out of the kit, which was used on me was a different kind of needle that was used on my 2 weeks agothis time the needle was thin and in green colour, and the last time that was used it was in blue colour and bigger. also as i remember in last test the needle was not in the box the nurse had it separate.
Had a normal period, had another that came a week early, decided to get the ovulation kit.
Back on January 11 i was at work and i had a headache and i went to the services department to get some aspirin. As i opened the door to the first aide kit (that's were the aprin is kept) i notices some blood on the latch that locks the door.
