I have been paranoid for a while thinking of my past.I was sexually active last year(last exposure 9 months back) and had protective sex with 8 prostitutes. I had taken 2 Elisa test and 2 HIV DUO test and one rapid test this year (last DUO and Rapid test yesterday) all of them were negative. I had taken these tests in Bangalore, I am little worried if these test were reliable as i have very little idea on the sensitivity and reliability of the testing centres.

If it helps, before your appointment write everything down and bring it in. Like your symptoms, where the pain is, does it intensify when you are active, what do you do currently to help manage the pain, how long does it last, do you wake up with headaches/migraines, do certain foods you notice make it worst. They will ask you things that you may think have nothing to do with a headache but it may just be a trigger for you that you aren't aware of.

I just found out about 12 years ago my mate was unfaithful and i have gotten tested recently with an third generation eia antibody test hiv1/2 with reflexes, a rapid blood test, 4 oraquick home tests and all came back negative. But ive read ur post that some people with aids antibodies wont show on those tests. Im very scared that im in that stage and the tests i took arent sufficient enough to know for sure.
I have seen a post in the community saying that the fourth generation test can completely exclude AIDS after 28 days.

Just under three years ago I had sexual intercourse with a prostitute from an unregulated brothel in Johannesburg ,South Africa.I was slightly intoxicated after whatching a game of rugby and solicited a prostitutes with a peer.Being in experienced i think the condom was not applied properly and I experienced some sores just under the head of my penis.I also experienced a mild fever,chills,runny stomach, swollen nodes around the lower pelvic region and sever joint pains.
anal sex.....yesterday after one year i had hiv testing which turns to negative.......is that conclusive.....however while taking my blood the nurse fails to take my blood through syringe first time then she took blood from my right arm....what could be reason for this?.....is it possible that syringe might have hiv blood?.....or am over reacted.
On the other hand, facial MC in AIDS is unlikely to clear up in 2 weeks; indeed even with aggressive treatment, it is very hard to control until immune deficiency is effectively treated with anti-HIV drugs. Perhaps the diagnosis was wrong -- which I hope is the case.
Your other symptoms don't help much one way or the other -- chronic recurrent diarrhea and intermittent fever and night sweats are consistent with advanced HIV, but also with innumerable other explanations.

um I was with my bf for like a year anyways he left me about a month ago he just left didnt tell me he was leaving I think he may have hiv or aids and has infected me ive been feeling sick for a while off and on but I have not been tested in about a year anyways ive got this rly bad cough and sometimes I feel like its hard to breathe it been like tht for a couple weeks now I dont have insurance and ive been too much of a coward to go to the hospital because im by myself I cnt tell my family...
