I am a medical student doing a research project. I was given a task to produce a five-year plan to tackle the assigned health problem within a specific population. So, the assigned health problem is febrile illness and I chose the USA population, which means febrile illness in returning travelers or international travelers and how the USA advises and tries to reduce travel related illness in its population. Should I consider PEP (based upon internet research)? I did shower and use anti-bacterial soap afterward, includingin my anus as that is all I could think to try at the time. Probably useless, but made me feel better.

So on 07/24/2015 around 4 months passed after the last possible exposure, i went AIDS project to got a test. The test is Oraquick finger blood rapid test, which showed the result in 30 mins. I got a negative result.
But i still felt uncomfort in my oral, a little bit dry and chronic pharyngolaryngitis.
1. I saw some research that the Oraquick got some possibility to get false negative especially within window period or late-staged hiv patient. Am i in the situation?

For one of my final year projects I am intending to design a product/service that aids stroke survivors through rehabilitation and the transition back to day to day activities. The brief also touches on making assistive technologies more aesthetically pleasing, moving away from large chunky white handrails for example. Hello Doctor, I was thinking of a new hiv/aids prevention method. It starts with if you cover the externel urethrtal orifice, with some sort of lets say duct tape. Will it help prevent the spreading of HIV. I was wondering since it is the only way vaginal fluid, or any type of bodily fluid could enter via oral, anal sex. Thus being covered, there isn't a way for the virus to enter nor leave. Your answer will be greatly appreciated and respected. Thank you for your time.
My supposition is based on the request for donations to go to a hospice and/or aids project. So, besides being very saddened by the the news of her death-- i am also very concerned.
Like I said, I have never experienced any symptoms, and neither have my three partners over the last years. I had surgery last year and had no anomalous numbers with blood tests. I know this is not an indicator in any way, however, from what i read, it would be likely that the white counts would be 'off'.
no rash, i have had 3 nights of sweating. no fatigue, I workout regularly everyday. I have done research, and I am very paranoid about hiv/aids. Your expertise?

Greetings doctor I am actually doing a research paper on HIV for school and with so much info online from one end of the spectrum to the other I figure I would ask a specialist directly a few questions so here it goes...
1-with testing now a days would you consider 6-8 weeks conclusive?
2-do you believe rapid tests are just as reliable as lab based?
3-do you feel oral rapid tests are just as good as blood?
4-what are the most common symptoms you see with onset of HIV?
My supervisor call me and ask me something regarding our shutdown project. He talked to me in the distance of 1m and my supervisor spit spray in my face and hit my eyes..yesterday his in sick leave due that he need to go to dentist to remove a painful teeth..

1. Do you think my risk is a hiv risk assuming the guy who spit spray on me is hiv positive guy?
2. If the spit have a hiv blood this enough to transmit the hiv virus?
