Hello Doctor, I was thinking of a new hiv/aids prevention method. It starts with if you cover the externel urethrtal orifice, with some sort of lets say duct tape. Will it help prevent the spreading of HIV. I was wondering since it is the only way vaginal fluid, or any type of bodily fluid could enter via oral, anal sex. Thus being covered, there isn't a way for the virus to enter nor leave. Your answer will be greatly appreciated and respected. Thank you for your time.

and in it the guys quotes an article and in it says hiv can pass though a latex condom that stays intact and unbroken, something like 31% are protected by a condom does anyone know anything about this ? this would really blow the whole condom = safe thing out of the water , for all the people who though they are now safe cause they used one this would mean you arnt infact clean of the disease. obviously this is scary.
You can't transmit AIDS, AIDS is a progression of HIV.
No you can not get HIV that way. I suggest talking with a Dr on how you aquire STD's.
And if you think about it why would someone cut themselves and drop blood into your drink? If someone saw her do that, she would get fired and sued. So again don't worry about HIV or STD's.

I am an 18 year old male, and have recently been diagnosed with obsessive compulsive disorder. This has little relevance to this thread as i already understand the disorder. It is relevant, however, to know that OCD causes thoughts of anxiety, and one of my biggest fears is acquiring HIV/AIDS. I've had multiple sexual partners, each of which i've trusted extremely well.
What are the chances of me being exposed to AIDs or HIV from using heroin IV? I'm going to a Free Health Clinic soon? I hope... I want to get tested to be safe. Ive done Heroin a handful of times since December of 09. Ive never shared a needle, and have always taken the necessary pre cautions.
I just wondering what are the symptoms that you probably feel when you have this type of disease. Is this curable? Is this can lead to death like AIDS do? Is AIDS and HIV the same?
