I wiped it off (with my hands) and resumed what i was doing. I have hsv2 the next day i got an outbreak. What are my risks of getting HIV or aids from this. Two years ago I had lightheadedness for three months during summer. No symptoms last year during summer. This year, same lightheadedness at exactly the same time of the year as two years ago with a horrible outbreak of shingles around my waist. I believe the shingles just didn't break out two years ago. Its possible you have something else going on like a fungal/yeast infection. The first outbreak would be the worst and if you have another you might consider antiviral as inhibits the virus and aids in healing.

Your DR i believe is checking possibility of muscular syndromes. He may now do more specific blood tests.
I cant work out how to convert your figure into our terms so have a look at the blood test again and see if they mark a regular range as well like 1:60 or 1:80.

I had protected sex in Bahrain and thought I was good to go, but I have Herpes and I noticed I was having an outbreak after having pulling out of the girl and I know her Vaginal fluids got on my Herpes outbreak. This happened around June 1st and I got sick around the 8th of June and Have been sick every since then. Today I noticed a small swollen Lymph node under my left ear only and have had hot skin feeling for over a month now with Night Sweats.
1- What does herpes outbreak mean? does it mean that many blisters will show up or what exactly?
2- How can a dermatologist distinguish between herpes blisters and other types of blisters (I know he/she cant be sure 100% but what makes him/her say you need herpes test)?
3- When you say herpes is painful what does it mean? what I mean is that what kind of pain would I feel?
4- Can I have more than lets say 10 herpes blisters at different areas at the same time?

Can a person contract HIV if a guy fingers a woman and the guy has some of his own semen on his fingers? Please note the girl has genital herpes, but has not had an outbreak in over 10 years and takes valtrex regularly.. She had a slight yeast infection and it was her last day of menstrual. I spoke to a helper at a local AIDS clinic and they said you could contract the disease. But Ive been on this site all day and all of the experts say no.. Please help!!! Thank you.
I was tested for EVERYTHING on my visit, including HSV1/2 and HIV/AIDS. I came back negative for EVERYTHING except HSV2? I spent nearly 1/2 hour with my doctor asking how? I have NEVER had any type of outbreak (lesion/genitalwart) or common symtoms of this STD? She mentioned my results were so low , that it could be a false positive?

You can only become infected if you make contact with an infected persons body fluids (much like HIV or AIDS) and the CDC will do everything in their power to prevent an outbreak!
almost every symptom you can find can be caused by AIDS, since AIDS means your immune system is not working any more and causes a lot of trouble.
if you had an infection it is not strange to have dry mouth and white tongue, it doesn't have to be HIV.
