Drink lots of gatorade/ water. Potassium helps for RLS and cramps as does Hylands. Hot baths are an instant gratification even if only for 10 minutes. Hot pads under your legs may help as well. I know it's an old myth but I slept with a bar of soap under my sheets at the foot of my bed near my feet and it helped with the fidgety factor and not being able to get rid of the creepy crawlies.
