I think Im experiencing AIDS symptoms. I have shortness of breath, fatigue, and now I started experiencing a weird sensation in my foot, as if someone is holding a lighter near to my ankle. It doesnt burn but it feels warm for a few seconds then goes away. Happens daily I think.
So im wondering if theres a high chance I got AIDS through the damaged tissue.
one more question and then i'll try to keep my fears in check and just read other posts for comfort. what if the condom broke? i don't think it did, but i never got a real good look at it. sex was still very short. does it change what was said before. also, i have been dealing with a sore throat and stuffiness prior to this. obviously, these aren't hiv symptoms of any kind, but can being sick contribute to making one more likely to contract the virus?

Symptoms or lack of will never tell you anything about you HIV exposure if have put yourself at risk. The only way to know your status is by testing.
The other is can a rash unaccompanied by other symptoms be a sign of HIV, no fever , flu like symptoms, or other signs. I did have a slight loss of appetite and stiff shoulders (most likely from worry)? I did something stupid and exposed my self to a person of unknown status. I am now very concerned about being infected. I will be taking a test when I get back to the US. At that time it will be 7 weeks since the incident.
