Since you are in India. the guidelines is 6 months as per south Asian bodies, but u can absolutely trust any result thats post 3months mark. Also since u have said your encounters are post 8 months. u have covered the longest window period. Test is the only way to know your status, not symptoms.

You have HIV specialist Doctors on here telling people 4 weeks depending on the risk is ok and you could live with that---and then you guys over here telling people that 4 weeks is ****---well I trust someone who is actually doing the test on me to give me the right info----I am done with this site. Antibody production can take anywhere from 3-12 weeks +/- after exposure, but all humans WILL eventually develop antibodies.
There has never been a case of anyone going from HIV to full blown AIDS without developing antibodies.

Yes according to most national guidelines, I know. However not in France where the labs, docs and the Aids Organisation gives you a conclusive result after 6 weeks. They told me I was negative and don't need do further testings, unless I had another unsafe event since. The french have discovered the virus, so they seem to have good science on HIV/Aids there.
Your CD4 is below 350 which means you should start meds. Todays guidelines are starting meds before that get down to 350.
i am reading a few threads here that say in South Africa the standard window testing period is 6 months , i live in South Africa and have been in contact with the AIDS hotline , rest assured that in South Africa the window period is 3 months , i have also read that 6-8 weeks is a good indicator ...

Those doctors are not up to date on the testing guidelines. Matter of fact they are 5 years behind on the guidelines.
I followed the testing guidelines and tested negative three months after the exposure. I moved on from this even thought I have not been feeling unwell ever since, I figured residual anxiety, depression, ect. My problems are the following symptoms:
-purple blotches in the form of a lesion formed on my forehead, separate ones, one of them very large and spanning from almost the whole left side of my temple.

Dr. Mcgovern of the body says there are different guidelines for possible coinfection according to cdc. Why is hcv different then any other virus? I don't mean to be annoying I'm just a bit nervous and I keep coming back to this logic if one virus can cause delayed seroconversion why not another?

I was dating a guy for nine months who I believe is at high risk for having HIV. At the time I had no idea. Three or so months after first having intercourse I started coming down with many health problems. I developed pneumonia, strange blotches on my body, and oral thrush. My doctor didn't figure out that I had pnuemonia for a couple of months and thought that the allergy medication he had me on for the skin blotches had caused the oral thrush.
