I get horrible muscle cramps from using ventolin more than once in a while. Advair also gives me muscle cramps as well (listed as a rare side effect), so it definetly is possible.
The first symptom I get from asthma flaring is chest tightness, that happens before I notice any breathing problems or peak flow drops, plus it is the last symptom to go away.
I have emphysema. i use advair twice a day and spiriva one a day. The biggest problem for me is that I always seem to havemucus build up in the mornings. My doctor has told me to try mucinex, but that doesn't seem to work all the time. So i try using albuterol in the morning to help loosen up the mucus so that I can breath better.
And then there was sluggish digestion and some urinary retention. And muscle cramps. Wonderful stuff, isn't it?
Yes..Advair is horrible for you. It brings your immune system way down. If you can go without it, I suggest you do so. I have meneire's diseases and I believe it was caused by the advair. My sister is on the Advair and has a constant sore throat but she can't breath very well without it. She could breath better before she was on advair. At first, you feel great on Advair. After a few months, for a lot of people, your health is worse.
I had my annual endo. Appt. in Feb. and I told him coffee was making me tired. He checked my cortisol level. It was 4.4 at 2pm. He says they are low and wants to do a 0,30,60 stimulation test to see what's going on. The problem is I have to go off Advair for a week before the test, but I can't do it. I have moderate asthma, but constant. Since my appt. my symptoms have gotten worse. Dizziness, muscle weakness and pain, and fatigue.
Mint Tea? Are you serious? I was dying and could have gone into kidney failure. I was having a severe allergic reaction to Advair discus inhaler. I quit taking it and my cramps went away, but my asthma got worse. I'm slowly recovering, and my asthma is taking longer to recover from too, without the steroids. I'd rather not breathe well than suffer that again. I was so desperate I posted on here.
I have moderate to advanced copd and take both advair and spriva. My hep doc didn't see any problem with it For me it came down to a choice of whether or not I wanted to stay of the oxygen tank.
In January 2015, after going back on Advair to help me sleep again, I developed muscle twitches in my legs and arms that come and go every 10-20 seconds when the muscle is at rest.
I also got the Spectracell Micronutrient Test at the White Blood Cell level and I am low in B12, B5, Folate and Choline. All else is normal.
Help! Do I need to be treated for Lyme and Babesia?? My only symptoms at this point are the sleep disturbance and muscle twitches.
Now, however, it has been two days post-extraction, and I wonder whether it is safe to use Advair without risk of dislodging the clots. I am also taking oral contraceptives (I have been informed that this medication may increase the risk for clotting problems). I am feeling more respiratory congestion with each additional day off Advair and would like to know if it's safe to use Advair so soon after wisdom teeth extraction. Thanks!
I am using advair for my asthma and it seems to help with those symptoms and I also have a rescue inhaler Flovent. But i do clean my advair diskus before and after each use. I dont have any infections in my mouth or lung i just have the white mucus and it has only been happening for two months and I have been using the advair about a year now. I heard from someone that the white mucus could be from allergies...is that true?
I have allergic asthma and have been on inhaled corticosteroids for nearly 20 yrs. (Advair for 3 years, prior to that albuterol rescue inhaler only). My optometrist recently informed me I have early cataracts in both eyes. I was shocked due to my age (55) and excellent health (other than my asthma). I read of links between these drugs and cataracts. If I reduce the usage of my inhaled meds would this slow down the cataract progression?
He took her off of the meds and stared her on a 5 day treatment of predisone and once daily puff if advair and albuterol as needed for flair ups. Approx 3 to 4 days after beganingg treatment she began to have twithchs in her arms and now it is in her legs too. Some teacher have reported it being in her face also. This all began Jan 14, 2009. She has had an EEG which is normal and has an appointment with a local neurologist. Does any of this sound fimaliar to you.
t know how many times and I always wash my mouth out and make sure that i drink something afterwards to clear the residue from my throat. I have charlie horses all the time or leg cramps in my feet and my legs. I eat bananas daily to keep up on my potassium. I have hot flashes which I had gotten over at my age before I started taking this. I have headaches. Plus I have put on weight. I am trying to get out and walk more but right now am having trouble with my feet.
