Hi. My skin has always been clear but about six months ago I got acne. The acne on my face keeps spreading. It's starts off as very small bumps on my face which later get red and swell a little. I also have lots of whiteheads and my acne. I've tried tratree oil and niacinamida and none of them seem to work. Any ideas to what to put on my face?

I understnad this one completely, I used to get bad acne, and i used this stuff for acne called stress control, but I couldnt use it anymore cause of the asysilic acid in, which is what you cant use on your face when pregnant, now i use this Aveno stuff, its like 7 dollars a tube, its in a green tube, but its not for acne exactly but it washes your face really good, and if your like me at all, I have really bad dry skin, and that stuff helps, Even thouugh not for ance use, it washes good, which

my face is really dry these days. i wash my face every morning and night with a moisturing face wash. but only recently i have been getting dryer skin. I have no face moisturising cream only body lotion. What do i do ??

I live in the southwest of Tx, so there is constant humidity. As an adult i still battle with minor acne but with this fourth child im constantly blotting with blotting sheet and when that doesnt work, tissues!!! Usually by my mid second trimester my skin goes back to normal, good luck mama!

sounds like an adult version of acne known as acne rosacea- google it or check google images - it is completely different to the teenage form of acne vulgaris

i was curious how to tell if a new face wash is right for your skin. the first couple of days made my skin better, but now i seem to have a couple more zits formed, and my skin seems oilier. i dont know if its because its drawing out all of the impurities, or if its not right for my sensitive skin. how long should i keep using it for also? just in case it is right, i dont want to give up too soon. thanks.

Oh welcome to the club. Sorry my face so awful till 10 or 11 weeks that was unreal. I'm 34 and still having adult acne on top of hormonal acne. They can't give you too much stuff like meds for it right now. You gotta hold on and later it should get better. After I delivered my 2nd baby my face was awful again. Yeah ... hormonal craziness. But I use tea tree oil pads off of amazon to clean my face with. Very natural and it does help to reduce inflammation.

I have always taken pristine care of my skin. I am a very health conscious eater, and drink plenty of water. I do not consume alcohol or caffeine on a regular basis. I protect my skin with a natural 50 spf religiously. I cleanse with a completely chemical free cleanser, and moisturize regularly with unprocessed virgin coconut oil. I never moisturize with products containing mineral oil, fragrances, propylene glycol, etc.

I had the same problem in early pregnancy. Just wash your face with a gentle cleanser without the acid stuff and wash your face in the morning and before bed, and limit the make up you wear if you wear any.

Acne Red in Color around center of my chest since over a month. Over a month ago I did smoke one or two every day for 9-10 days. I am now 41 years athletic figure. I have checked the photographs and they are suggestive of adult acne. I use an all natural method as well, have been for two years and no break outa...combo of castor oil, vitamin e oil and evening primrose oil...all can be found in the pharmacy section of a walmart. Quarter size amount and rub all over your face, use a warm wash cloth to wipe off the oil, rinse the wash cloth and repeat. Best thing I've ever used. Anything you buy that targets acne is stripping your face from actual oils is needs, so your face fights back by making more and pores get clogged.

Make sure you wash this area twice a day when you wash your face. Neem soap may help. You can use white vinegar at night to dry the pores. It will cause some redness, which is why you want to do it at night. Or you could dilute the vinegar with witch hazel if it's too strong. It is very easy to miss your nose when you wash your face if you're not paying attention. And toothpaste is extremely drying and can be a quick cure.

i have mild to moderate acne. I have recently started using panoxyl face wash, which has 10% w/w benzoyl peroxide in it. I use the product once a day in the morning. Is the face wash more affective or is the panoxyl gel? and can i use the two products together?
