So victims, get out of the abuse and learn how to attract to healthy people and healthy relationships. This goes for any abuse, verbal, physical, emotional, psychological, mental. It is up to the victim to change. Don't ever think the abuser will change. That is wishful thinking as concrete as a cloud. Unless you change your own expectations of yourself, and change yourself, you will be his, and others, victim.

I am basing my opinions of cosmetic appearance on various journal photos and my 20+ years in surgery. I am quite realistic of what surgery can and cannot do and do not want to raise his hopes to have them dashed after a quite painful procedure.

Our daughter was forced to have unsupervised custody last week where she informed us that he was vomiting all evening. if the xanax is in addition to the alcohol.....then he's really playing with fire here. being a medical student, you should know already how diazepam is used for withdrawal from xanax. this needs to be dr surpervised and the process alone of switching from xanax to valium is a long process...but ultimately at these doses and with alcohol in the mix, perhaps thats the best route? a doctor will know best...but the alcohol needs to be dealt with FIRST...then the xanax.

Mrdibs - If you suspect some sort of sexual abuse that your son may have endured then by all means, get him some counseling! However, it is completely normal for siblings or childhood friends to "explore". The fact that he did it at nite while she was asleep should not concern you as much as you think it should. 14 year old boys will use anything to stimulate themselves, and they are not thinking about appropriateness. There minds are on one thing and one thing only.
