Avatar m tn ADHD, mild-moderate schizophrenia spectrum disorder (high functioning juvenile paranoid schizophrenic possible), tourette syndrome ( coprolalia), anxiety disorder, OCD, highly possibly aspergers and depression. I have not been on an ADHD med in years, because they gave me insomnia. I have been on both stimulate (concerta, adderall) and non-stimulant (strattarra) drugs. I definitely feel that concerta worked very well for me.
Avatar f tn He has a history of ADHD, ODD, truancy, weed addiction. Recently he became acutely paranoid - likely b/c of a combo of years of weed abuse and trauma from street involvement. He's now in the hospital, not himself at all & to complicate things, is on house arrest and I'm his surety. He is refusing treatment in the hospital - that he desperately needs - & discharge is imminent.
Avatar f tn His doctors is very familiar with the ADHD because is own son is ADHD s he knws what we are going through. My son has his ggod days and his bad days. He is more out going an active with the Vyvanse than he was with the Daytrana, I am cncerned that it may not be strong enough. I am already antisipating that he will probably be held back this year in school and maybe that would be a good thing. He would then realize that there are consequences for his actions.

Juvenile rheumatoid arthritis and adult onset rheumatoid arthritis differ in some characteristics but the names indicate strict similarity. Juvenile chronic arthritis is a misnomer since juvenile arthritis is not always chronic.

Avatar n tn What are the major causes of Juvenile Diabeties? Can anyone offer advice to help her through this challenging time.
Avatar n tn Keep some small juice boxes or cans handy wherever you are, and if he complains of headache, fatigue, or if he seems cold for no reason, you may want to offer some juice to bring sugar levels up. If I were you, I would ask to be referred to a juvenile diabetes specialist, who can tell you first-hand that seizures can be caused by severe hypoglycemia. No, he does not sound like he is diabetic, but severe hypoglycemia can be just as scary for parents to deal with.
